“While visiting in Peoria, I had a craving for fried chicken. I found Sharkey's Express on Google Maps. This was the best fried chicken I have ever had!! It was made fresh while I waited (well worth the wait). I also had French fries which were also the best along with Cole slaw. The owner gave me a dessert of chocolate and nut covered grapes, which were delicious. All of the desserts looked great. I only wish this place was local for me. Kudos to the owner!!“

“Peoria Illinois. We arrived 5 minutes before closing. They had to special make my shrimp. I felt bad that they had to do that, but they were apologizing that I had to wait! We told them we had traveled 10 hours and they went out of their way to make sure our order was exactly what we wanted. They were working over to make our meal! I hope Long John's appreciates those hard workers! This positive attitude made our day!“

“While I did arrive in the drive-thru with only 8 minutes left before the restaurant closed, they took my order and made it for me with a smile. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious, as it usually is! I appreciate when I come across employees that are in a service industry, and yet they still smile, are friendly, and seem to be happy to be at work. “Young lady at counter was quick with order and helpful for menu options. Received a frosted mug for dining in, then cup to leave. Ordered the double cheeseburger fries and drink for $13.
Food was very well cooked and evenly cooked, not having burnt edges or anything. Fries seemed fresh and just the right crunch and seasoning.
Though not many people dining in or busy, it looked clean but floors were slick (as it would be next to cooking station, not fresh mop water for patron side).
Condiments were readily accessible and full.
Food was promptly brought to me as well, which was nice.

“This was a first time stop. The restaurant was very quiet and secluded. So we was not sure it was opened. We saw no cars but one then people started coming in to the drive through. Inside the restaurant was clean, and seemed to be kept up pretty well. The service was good and the young man brought our lunch right to us. The food was okay too much salt on the fries and the coleslaw was a tad bit dry needed more dressing. This place is in a good location near by Sam's club. If you are hungry for a quick bite that will not break the bank. This is your stop.

Parking: Good parking.

Kid-friendliness: Have a place for the kids to eat.

“Not only is their food amazing and fast. The staff is amazing. We went today (me my husband and youngest son) after my son had a procedure to get tubes in. They where super genuine about how he was doing. The gentleman who works there (I didn’t catch his name) was such a sweetheart. He came up to talk to us and ask about my son. He also gave him a stuffie. Which made my son smile for the first time after his procedure. THANK YOU FOR THAT! The little gesture was greatly appreciated!“

“Initially, our order was completely wrong. We did not realize this until we got home. We called the store and they asked us to come back. They more than made up for their mistake. We got extra fish and even a coupon for a free fry. I understand mistakes happen, but its all about how you fix them. This store did an amazing job. Customer service at its best!“

“So much better than Steak 'n Shake well now that Steak 'n Shake has no staff. Till Steak 'n Shake brings back a wait staff this is pretty much the same food but hot , fresh and cheaper, will just go to Freddy's!“

“As always, the food here is great. But the employees make everything even better. I can’t tell you how many of them go out of their way to make going to Culver’s a good experience. I highly recommend going to this Culver’s. It’s evident the workers really care.“

Parking: Convenient location with more than enough parking although I typically go later at night when I get a craving for a Strawberry Cheesecake Blizzard!

“Stopped in for dinner and dessert with grandparents after a long day of activities. It really hit the spot! Got the food that they would eat and the dessert everyone wanted.My only complaint is that the tables were grimy and clearly hadn't been cleaned let alone sanitized. The bathroom was also kind of a situation. If I thought there were any adults running the place I would have dropped to three stars, but I think in the end the kids were all right.Have some really cool pictures of the first Dairy Queens (Didn't realize they started in this region), early Dairy Queen photos and memorabilia, and a really tricked-out Dairy Queen Milk-Wagon sitting in front. I ordered my online order and pulled up to Taco Bell and they were so busy I waited 30 minutes which was fine because they were so packed and when I got to the window they made me fresh food without me even asking it was so good really appreciated the workers“

“I was scared to eat here at first. Its really not very nice looking. The guy working was really nice, though, and the more I looked around, I noticed the surfaces were very clean. The floor was clean. Tables are clean. The back, where the food is cooked and all of the utensils were all very clean. I still worried. There isn't a great vibe here. The food was really good! We had a steak and cheese sandwich and a single gyro. I was disappointed that the lamb wasn't coming off a spit, but maybe it had been, and they carved it off and stored it? So, the gyro was good but not great. The tzatziki sauce was not as flavorful as I hoped. It was still good, just not even close the best I've had. (I think the name made me expect a GREAT gyro) The Philly though, that is something I will crave later on. Very good. I will be going back again. I will probably even get another gyro sometime.“

“Being raised in Mesa AZ, this place is so literally refreshing. The steak and chicken tacos will literally cleanse your pallet with just onion, cilantro, and a bit of cheese. Very important that the meat is fine and crispy and both the chicken and the steak is every time. Get the kids a cheese quesadilla which is very thick and filling and there’s no reason to go anywhere else nearby. Lots of various candies for the kids too.“

“We went at about 7PM on a Monday (CAT employees get a free drink with their meal on Mondays if they show their ID). The service was very personable and professional and the sandwiches were very good. I’m not typically a fan of hot subs but I loved these! I think it was a little overpriced but the free drink balanced it out.“

“I like this location. So far Everytime I've walked in, no matter the staff member they were friendly, inviting, and professional. I know some locations are hit or miss, and I'm sure everyone has different experiences, but this location so far is the best in the city.

“This is one of the cleanest restaurants I've come across since relocating to East Peoria a few months ago. Service has been fast and friendly, and food is well-prepared.

If I had to say one negative, it's the layout of the parking lot - tough to exit when someone is at the drive-through speaker, but it's easy enough to park in the adjacent lot and walk the extra 20 steps. I'll gladly walk a little farther for a clean and well-run restaurant.“

“Due to halal concerns, we do not have many choices except fries and fish sandwiches. Unfortunately, I rarely get the fish menu there. I took four curly fries, and 90 percent were broken, which disappointed us. It seems they do not have enough customers. I hope they will survive with pride and quality.“

The Washington Pizza Hut location is the most consistent food wise and staff is always friendly.Morton Pizza Hut is too greasy...they use too much grease in the their pans...yuck. The Pekin location barely puts any cheese on the pizzas and has gotten my order wrong.So I drive out of my way to go to the Washington Pizza Hut for a GOOD PIZZA!I do use the Pizza Hut App which is pretty easy to use and I ALWAYS CAN FIND A DEAL!
