The staff is extremely friendly and the food is great, I had a turkey club sandwich and it was delicious! I also enjoyed the whole "middle of downtown" atmosphere! It also has a sort of 1950s theme which feels nice. Definitely will be visiting again next time I'm in Peoria. We ordered box lunches for work and the food was great. The last week of November I was attending training for my job. One of my coworkers suggested we go to Adams St Cafe for lunch. I am thankful we did and we visited twice during the week because it was so good! Everyone was so kind that worked there and the food was incredible. My first meal here was the Monte Cristo Panini (fantastic sandwich!) with delicious homemade chips. the second day I had a cup of cheese soup that was rich and filling. Cute place! Went looking for Abe's Deli and was sorry to hear it had closed, so we crossed the street to this cafe. Pretty typical lunch menu: sandwiches, paninis, wraps. Fast service. The paninis were good but not quite big enough to share, and the homemade chips are good (seriously, why would you order a bag of chips there?).
