Dang Boba, Poke & Banh Mi - Peoria

I've eaten here many times since they've opened and the good food and drinks, are absolutely not an issue. Their service, particularly in the past 6 months or so has gotten worse. Today lunch took nearly an hour because of how long we waited to order and receive our food. The lady working the cash register was very nice, but she answered and took 2 phone orders and punched them in, while I stood and waited. Then I waited over 20 minutes for my sandwich and my tea that was missing boba. They've always been slow, but we watched a couple that was already seated and ordered before our group even sat down; wait for nearly 30 minutes for theirs. Again, great food, but incredibly slow.

such a fantastic restaurant. The food is amazing and the drinks are so delicious as well. Very nice that you can adjust the amount of sugar you want in Boba tea too(nice if you are trying to limit sugar for weight loss). 100% recommend this place.

Coffee boba tasted like the coffee was burnt. I asked for a replacement and was told if I want a new one I can purchase another one. Didn't help that the lady behind the counter is meaner than a junk yard dog.
Definitely not going back, terrible customer service!

I've gotten takeout poke from here twice.

The ingredients taste fresh and it's filling. The prices are pretty expensive, but their combo offerings are good. We also had their chicken teriyaki bowl and it was good.

Would recommend for the poke!

First time visiting restaurant service was great! Food was excellent ? chef kiss ?!! I ordered original Banh Mi with Lychee Jasmine Tea w ? jelly ?!!! Definitely will visit again!!!???

Nice place in Peoria that has an upscale dinning area vibe and great service. I picked up a few Banh Mi sandwiches as St Louis no longer has Banh Mi available while I was in town. The blueberry smoothie with ice cream is a standout! The Banh Mi were freshly made and tasted great. Best part is I'm eating healthy and anything near garbage is better than Subway! LOL No garbage here though and a good place to take a friend or a date.

I am always impressed with the quality of the food and drink. The build your own poké bowl is a great deal. The portion sizes are nice; I always get two full meals out of one poké bowl. I highly recommend this place to anyone I can! Plus it's nice to support a local business!

Considering it was my first time here.. first impressions last. I was standing at the register for ten minutes could have been more. It felt like forever before someone finally even looked at me and said “uhm I’m sorry I don’t remember your order what was it” and I was like “I didn’t even order yet because no one has even looked at.. not said hello” no acknowledgment whatsoever. So I placed my order okay. Then sat down. Other people were there waiting for their order as well. Both me and them ended up chatting about the poor customer service. It took way too long for them to make either of our orders. The boys were too busy chatting with themselves to even notice anyone coming in wanting to make an order. You could literally see them stop what they are doing and talk more. It ended up trickling into the food because they could care less how they made it. I love poke but I make better at home and can buy better from Kroger and Mariano’s. Sad because this is the only poke place here. Everything was fresh but the rice was over cooked for me and he smothered it in an ungodly amount of bang bang sauce because he was to busy chatting to pay attention which ruined the bowl. For the price you would think you would at least get a hello when you walk in… my bar for this place is so low. The only reason y’all get a 3 star is because the atmosphere is okay minus the boys not stop chatter. And because it is fresh food my bowl was just ruined because of the amount of sauce. As much as I love poke I don’t think I will be back. Think this was a one and done for me. Peoria needs more options. It’s so sad that this is the only poke place..

Food is fantastic. Service and communication are terrible. On multiple occasions when I have tried to order over the phone, before I even get a word in, the staff immediately puts me on hold and forgets about me - I'd be on hold for more than 10 minutes and at that point I simply give up. Some days will take excessive amounts of time for food to be prepared - 25 minutes to prepare one sandwich is a bit much - which would be excusable - if it weren't for the fact, that they falsely tell me that my order would be ready in <10 minutes, and I show up, and find myself waiting around

I am a very regular customer to this place because I love their boba.Although the last visit was very disappointing. Our usual matcha drink was so bad and not blended well. Upon telling them they(the owner) blamed us for not ordering the classic drink and having extra add on. But in reality we always order their signature matcha milk team with strawberry syrup and tapioca brown sugar boba.The employees are good and kind but the owner was extremely rude to us and was very impatient with us.Hope
