I went to Zion coffee this morning with my son and witnessed something extraordinary that the owner demonstrated in front of me. There was a woman who was having difficulties getting her young son into line and she quickly ran outside for him to calm down. Moments later, the owner of Zion, rushed outside to help this woman who was alone. She went to go give her son a tiny lil' coffee treat and to help with whatever she could do to allow this duo a pleasant experience in her shop. She spoke to them kindly and was committed to helping. I was so moved by this gesture to see a true act of kindness be at work, all while juggling her duties behind the counter. A true testimony to the owner's character when no one was really watching. To see women helping women, let alone a woman helping a mother, almost brings me to tears, because as a mother, we all hope to have that friendly helping hand when our little ones may be experiencing big emotions in public. I've never had the opportunity to meet the owner, but I want to thank her for making my day. Thank you for making Zion safe 💕

It looks like Gloria Jean's Coffee in Northwoods mall has an excellent management and pursues proper business strategies: the restaurant is clean, distancing is observed, the staff and customers wear masks, new items consistently appear in the menu, in accordance with the season changes, and daily specials are offered. Sanitation rules are clearly displayed above the counter, and the service is very polite, patient and helpful. No wonder, the place is very popular with the visitors. A comfortably -- and stylishly -- appointed seating area nearby is inviting and relaxing. This is where one can enjoy some coffee or a snack. So, Cappuccino -- regular, $5.05 + tax -- was hot and very tasty! In my experience, Gloria Jeans Coffee is a proper quality, customer-friendly restaurant. I will definitely be back -- and many times, thank you!
