“Previously, I'd only drank beer there. 🤣🤣 More recently though, I attended a craft making event there and stayed to eat afterwards. The restaurant has a nice side room with a fireplace that is great for events like this craft one. Afterwards I stayed to eat and chose the poutine pictured. It is a twist on poutine because it had sausage slices and their in-house-prepared jalapeños. It is a spicy dish and also tasty. They also have a nice variety of beer, cocktails, and wine. I would go back and recommend this restaurant. It is cozy inside as well, like a cabin.“

“We have been to PJ’s a couple times in the last few weeks and every time the service is amazing! Your employees are so kind and patient! The ice cream serving size is amazing for the price! Totally worth the trip to beautiful Manteo!“

“Good service, with a great selection of food to choose from, especially the breakfast pancakes and waffles. The restaurant also provides great window seats to the Main Street area and a view of the railroad track nearby. Always a top restaurant to go to when visiting the town!“

“Came in to the dining room to eat in around 8 or 8:30 p.m. Was not greeted by young woman at counter when I came in. Stood there several minutes waiting on husband and reading menu. Several people in the kitchen being loud and throwing things at each other. When he came in and we went to the counter she greeted us. Took our order. Pleasant enough. Another girl was wiping trays. We grabbed drinks. Area needed to be wiped down but the napkins, straws, lids, and ketchup area were all stocked. Went to dining room and had to go to 5 tables to find a clean one. Food came out quickly. They have changed their burgers. They are thin as paper. Like meat crepes. Seriously. Bacon was cooked the way I like it. Husband and I ordered the same sandwich, only he got a double. Apparently that changes the type of bun you get because mine was a regular hamburger bun wrapped in paper and his was a fluffy sandwich bun in a paper bowl. Receipt reflected we paid for two of the same sandwiches. So who knows the thought process there. Finished and dumped our tray. Didn't bother getting ice cream.“

“Our wedding at The Bennett-Curtis House was nothing short of perfect. Scott was incredibly professional, responsive, and thorough throughout the entire planning stage. On the day of the event, he was very personable and effectively communicated between everyone at all times to ensure everyone was on the same page. We could not have asked for a better venue, coordinator, or staff. The food and drinks were fantastic. Bar service was incredible. Everyone had a really great time, and we owe it all to Scott and The Bennett-Curtis House staff.“

“I went in from getting off work i was in car with my unc i order chicken n shrimp so i asked how many. You get the lady said 3 pieces chicken n 6 medium size pieces i said for 16 plus tax only 3 pieces of chicken okay il pay for another piece of chicken total was about $18-$19, The cook was aware she yelled it out i was still at register got my food got to my destination ONLY TO HAVE 3 pieces of chicken AND PAID MY MONEY I DID NOT HAVE A RIDE BACK ! Bad customer service! Food was good but spent my money and didnt get ALL I PAID FOR !“
