“Great service, Jen was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The place has a quiet and friendly small-town feel. The food was pretty good, juicy fried chicken basket and solid BBQ pulled pork. I'd skip the buffet (didn't look too appetizing) and stick to the main menu.“

“We were on our way back to our 5th wheel at Mendota from the John Deere Museum. We were hungry and I looked up what was close on Yelp!! We just passed Porky's...we turned around and we're so excited we did!!!! The best hamburgers we've ever had!!! I was able to see our cook from our table. Clean kitchen and wonderful cook! We both told her how good and delicious our burgers were!!! Cooked to perfection!!! Our waitress was exceptional!! Now this looked like a biker bar and grill...my thought...but we are so thankful we stopped!!!“

“Wonderful place from the owners of Candlelight. They offer the ubiquitous Chicken George with yummy Jan’s sauce. We were served mini cornbread muffins on the table upon arrival. Wonderful. We ordered Burnt Ends as an appetizer. They were so great. I ordered the Chicken Southwest bowl. It smelled divine and was very filling. My wife ordered the Pub Burger and fries. She said the burger was okay but the fries were delicious. My sister had the Brisket Philly sandwich and said it was slightly above average. My parents both got Chicken George. My mom had garlic mashed potatoes and my dad fries. Both thumbs up. I’d say it’s worth a stop and ask for Kim to be your waitress. She’s phenomenal!“

“This was our first time & we celebrated our 25th anniversary there. I never said anything to them about it. I had the Gelana steak special, the steak was good & the sauce. I personally didn’t like those potatoes with it, maybe baked little red potatoes would have been better. My husband had the Ribeye and added mushrooms and onions. The salad bar is included for 1 trip up. Small plates. I really liked the pea salad. The garlic mashed potatoes were great. We weren’t offered fresh bread, but over heard another table offered some when they got seated. So not sure if that’s offered or not. I added a margarita, 2 choices. Strawberry (not fresh) but good or original.Wheelchair accessibility: 2 spots at the main entrance“

“Went here for breakfast/brunch on Sunday, prices were higher than I expected, but portions were large enough to make up for it. We had all our kids split a plate, (8 of them). The server was polite, and the service was very quick. For as many plates as our table ordered, it felt like no sooner than we all ordered, the server was returning to the table with the food.Only real disappointment was that for what seemed like an otherwise classic diner, they did not have some classic foods on the menu. I was wanting some good biscuits and gravy but that's not even on their menu.“
