Experience Rantoul's Mexican food at these fantastic spots.
“My wife and I had dinner there a couple of weeks ago. Wonderful homemade tortillas and great horchata. My wife got chicken fajitas, and I got the carnitas. This is really home-style Mexican cooking. I really enjoyed my carnitas! The portions were big enough that we had the remainder at home the next night. We were taking with 2 patrons as they left, and they were telling us how much they enjoyed the soups. I am getting hungry as I write the review and think about how yummy the food is. And their guacamole is great.Parking: Huge lit parking lot right in front. Free parking.“
“I was visiting the City of Rantoul about a week ago and I was recomended this place as for good foof to eat. The place is like a bar/restaurant, with music, and the food was very good, mexican style tacos and other traditional dishes, great flavor, I actually ordered two more tacos because they were delicious, I recomend this place, you wont be desapointed and prices are low.“
“First time trying this place, and it was awesome. Ordered the 3 traditional tacos lunch deal for myself and nachos supremos for my boyfriend. We both devoured our food before we could remember to take pics?. The wait times are minimal. We waited just 5 minutes, and they walk you through how you'd like your food cuz there's actually a lot of options for each. Only down side were my refried beans. They were too salty. Also, when they say the red sauce it hot, they mean it's HOT. It's delicious, but be conservative and be prepared.“
“Took about 5 or so minutes for anyone to take my order; even though it was neither busy inside nor drive through. However, I'm a mom of several, and have no mind enjoying the few minutes of peace. The atmosphere is neither bad or good. It just is...If that makes sense. My food was good...Not amazing being that the ends of my chalupas were not warm and soft but rather quite hard. I don't mind a Lil crunch like lettuce, but my chaluoa crust was not as delicious as I'm used to. Even the spicy potato soft taco went hard on edges by the time it reached my bag...possibly?...I have no shame towards taco bell anywhere...it's good for what it is...but if you have high expectations...I suggest a real mexican/Hispanic food place for food.Don't get me wrong, I can eat taco bell and be satisfied. It's not authentic you want to get. BUT, it is, satiating. I THINK EVERYONE KNOWS this at this rate. I still love you, Taco Bell. I love my chicken chalupa with nacho cheese!!!“
“My coworker and I stopped in durning lunch time and were treated and sat immediately. Within a few min the place was packed obviously being a favorite spot for lunch. Our food was delicious, hot, and was brought out quickly. We will definitely return.“
