“We recently had our future daughter in law’s bridal shower at Olive Black. Dan & Wendy could not be easier to work with. Super accommodating, fun & relaxed personalities. They made the whole process extremely easy and enjoyable. This is the second bridal shower our family has thrown at Olive Black. All of our guests comment on how much fun it is there. “Great place! Cute shop, wonderful patio/courtyard area. We were out with our dog stopping at dog friendly locations with her and everyone was so nice! Loved that they had themed flights to choose from, and our Miss Frannie was spoiled with her own bowl of fresh cold water and some dog treats from them. We were able to purchase a pup cup for her as well. (they had the choice of pup cup or doggie ice cream for the pups) We will definitely be back again! 😊“

As someone who is not a big beer drinker, I appreciate the self-serve, pay-by-the-ounce setup that allows you to taste only as much as you want without being wasteful. I ate the turkey panini and it was so good our group kept talking about it several days later. I live out-of-state but will definitely return whenever I visit the Lake Geneva area again!“

“Started off dinner with thebucatiui carbonara which is guanicale pasta with fresh pecorino cheese and pepper in a fettucinni pecorino cheese sauce. my wife hadthe Baramundi which is Australian sea bass with the pistachio couscous with peas and crispy enoki mushrooms, and a lemon sauce. She said it was delicious and I had the.limbo do verbose which is venison in a raspberry sauce with sweet pea risotto that was fantastic. She finished dessert with a tiramisu and I had a black coffee with black Sambuca dinner fantastic and our server Tanya took very good care of us.“

“A friend and I attended a show in Lake Geneva and had the dining pleasure of eating here.

From an atmosphere standpoint, I love the restaurant, its woodwork, and its overall layout. There are big cities that have five star restaurants that are not this clean, or this well laid out. Lake Geneva has a gem here.

I ordered the Kansas City steak which was downright fantastic. Although I asked for no pink in the middle, it did have a little bit and I addressed that with my server Melissa who was extremely kind and very apologetic about it. The steak was seasoned so well that I barely noticed the pink in the middle. I also ordered the mac & cheese as well as potatoes and they tasted equally as fantastic.

Speaking of Melissa, she was a downright and absolutely awesome server. With as many tables as she had, she was still able to get back and check with us on a regular basis to make sure that we were OK and that the food is OK. She displayed one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had in a restaurant.

Unfortunately we had a table of five women across from us who were absolutely drunk. And even one who is smoking a marijuana vape pen.

Unfortunately you can’t deal with some of the antics other guests portray as they also visit the restaurant, but the food and service was downright fantastic.

I will return for another meal. And hopefully the restaurant will have been able to peel those five women off the floor on our return.

I also have to give extreme credit to our host as well. Even though we arrived early, he was able to seat us immediately. And I was quite surprised by that.“
