“We tried Rusty Nail Saloon for lunch today. The soup was great, Walleye special was huge and cooked perfectly, and the rest of our meal was delicious. our server, Michelle, was quick, friendly, and attentive. We will definitely go back!“

“I took my boys here on a Saturday at around 4:30 after a trip to the Volo museum. We were immediately greeted by a friendly, knowledgeable and attentive waitress. The appetizer plate had the best onion rings and these creamy smoky bacon Gouda Mac n cheese bites that were to die for! Pan pizza came out as a deep dish and my teenager loved it. My oldest and I got the rib and broasted chicken combo…. OMG No regrets! The chicken was seasoned well with a delicious, crispy, light breading and the ribs were fall off the bone scrumptious with a perfect smoky/sweet bbq sauce. Do NOT skip the peach cobbler!! The warm, crispy peaches and streusel topping tasted like it was made with love. What a great place and we absolutely love our server. She was engaging and knew the menu. Will definitely return!“

“I want to begin by saying that we love this place. BUT, the service and food were just horrible. My husband's wings were good but my nachos were terrible. The lack of beef was covered up with lettuce and triple helping of sour cream. I left hungry. We usually stay for more than 1 drink, but I had to get out of there due to a very miserable child screaming for its mother to pay attention to her. Just an overall unpleasant experience.“

The food and service was excellent and the owner, Jerry, was kind enough to listen to stories of my childhood, working in the hardware store that my great grandfather started back in the early 1900s. Today - based on the owner's recommendation - we started with a cupl of their meat and veggie soup that did not make it on the official menu - sorry missed a photo of it - delish! 😍 Pork, chicken and beef in a savory broth chock full of veggies - carrots, celery, onion 🤤 followed that with the egg salad appetizer, one of our absolute favs 🤩 4 toasted rounds of bread with their excellent egg salad 👍 then we tried the new potato pancakes entree for the first time, which came topped with assorted grilled veggies, plus toast, eggs and hollandaise sauce.. we got the eggs scrambled, rye toast buttered, sauce on the side, and requested a side of sour cream. YUM 😋 ended up with the vanilla cake with vanilla frosting - sorry to miss a photo of that too. Awesome! One asked If I could have gotten it rare was told menu says medium well. Meat was of a quality as if it was cooked earlier this week. Definitely will not be going back for hamburgers. “Great Italian beef sandwich I’ve had in a long time. Although I’ve never had one with bell peppers. That was a communication error on my part. I thought sweet peppers would mean banana peppers (which I prefer) but the sweet bell peppers were a treat just as well. Not a bad place for a quick lunch. It’s not fast food, it’s food prepared fast, and tasty.“

“I’m not typically one to issue 5 star reviews. However, Buddy’z was on their A game on the night of 10/16/2025 and helped the wife and I celebrate our anniversary with two very tasty pizzas. We ordered a deep dish and a thin crust, both sausage, for delivery. Both pizzas were fantastic, had plenty of toppings, great taste, and they arrived quickly, despite having ordered a deep dish. It was actually a little nostalgic calling up a pizza place and placing an order. Not like these corporate pizza places that want everything done online via some Terminator on judgement day taking your order. Better yet? The woman who answered the phone knew what she was doing. I didn’t get the person on day 2 that was left alone on her own to hopefully survive.

I worked food service for almost 20 years in pizza so I know that everything just clicked last night. Now the only question that remains is consistency! Keep it up! We will see!

It all just gelled and it helped our anniversary be a great one.

“I just saw this online, so we drove an hour away from home to get here. We came night time, the food was just simple, the lady who assessed us was pretty good and attentive. I would say, must better to go here daytime, for it's beautiful ambiance.“

“Came here yesterday (Friday) around 8pm with my husband and 3 kids. Parking is on the side, there was stairs going up and stairs going to the balcony and stairs going to the patio, no signs where to go so we went through the patio and thought we should go inside so they can sit us down, we went up to the balcony and inside. It was pretty slow so we observed and thought its self order and sit anywhere. It was a young cashier, i asked her if the shrimp was boiled or fried and she said “you eat it raw” (looking at the pictures now they’re not raw) so i just bought an Italian beef, diablo burger (from its name i thought it was going to be spicy which is why we got it but it wasn’t at all ) chicken tenders and a plain cheese burger, all came with fries and spent $60 and $16 + tip for 3 drinks and beer at the bar. We took our food to the patio where there was a tent, First thing we saw was big spiders and no netting under the railing so I had to move the kids so they don’t accidentally fall off their chairs and into the water. It was dark, we didn’t see the ants on our table until we started eating.“

“I had the pleasure of experiencing this restaurant today. This is Chinese restaurant I've eaten at in a very long time. Their spring rolls are the best I've ever had, period. The rainbow lo mein was outstanding. They serve oolong tea in pots, which is something no restaurant does where I live, so that was a treat. If I could give this review more than 5 stars I would. This is a must dine restaurant.“
