We heard about this bar via Law Tigers. When we first walked in the door, I felt very nervous not knowing how they would accept me and my husband, who like motorcycles but don't own one - yet. We were both welcomed with open arms and met some really amazing people. We both got a very creative vibe while we were there, which hasn't happened to either one of us in years. Their food equipment was down, but that certainly didn't stop us from having a great time and feeling accepted....read full review
Homestretch is the BEST BAR EVER!!! Awesome bartenders...daily drink specials...they allow smoking on the outdoor patio and on Fridays they have frozen drink specials...totally down to earth...

This is my favorite bar. I was glad when the current owner bought it because I didn't like the previous owner. Great place to have a beer and make new friends. Convenient to walk there when you live in the neighborhood and just want to get out of the house. Lucky you live in River Grove.
