They have great pizza! The owner is stand-up guy. Service is a little on the slow side but okay. Ambiance, well that is a different story. It is more like a Chuck E Cheese or a McDonalds with children running amok in the dining area, within feet of the full-service bar. Impossible for older adults to relax over dinner and drinks in the late afternoon.
What a quaint, down-to-earth restaurant and bar! I came here for dinner on a Thursday night around 6:45ish. It was pretty empty and we were seated immediately (we got to pick where we wanted to sit). We opted in for their outdoor patio which was spacious. This place is RIGHT next to the Metra, so be prepared for the train coming around 1-2 times per hour. This was for a 65 yr. high school reunion. Although we didn't have enough people to have a private room, they set us up in such a way that it felt like we were in a private room. They made sure there was always fresh pizza and salad.Vegetarian options: We had vegetable and cheese pizza also salad as our vegetarian options.
