“Lisa was great! She was taking all of the orders AND cooking all of the food too! The food was amazing and she even brought out some special bbq skewers that she made! Our first time there she made it so good, and we can’t wait to come eat there again! Thank you for great day!“
“I tried this restaurant because the other Korean restaurant on the same road has gone downhill quality wise. I have been going since. Their price is just $1 or $2 higher than the other one but the food is much better quality and larger portion. You can tell they are very proud of their food. They make their own kimchi. They check on you frequently to make sure you are happy with the food. Highly recommend this restaurant!“
“This place was so good! And the lady that helped us was SO sweet. Even though she didn’t speak a lot of English, she was still able to communicate easily to us. Skills! Not once did I see her stop working. If she’s not servicing clients, she’s cleaning. We got the Ox soup and fried fish. 10/10Very calm environment. The ceiling is cute.“
“Great nangmyun and bibimmyun combo w galbi! The cold noodle soup and spicy buckwheat noodles were delicious and authentic. It's nice to have an option to order other dishes if you decide not to go w the all you can eat bbq, which looked good. Will want to try next time!“
“*Grilled tripe that is more Korean than Korea*This is a tripe lover who traveled to the United States. I've been to many places including Wangsimni and Sinchon, so I honestly thought I wouldn't be impressed. But the tripe here is fresher and more plentiful than in Korea. If you think about it, it’s obvious, right? Meat is very cheap in America haha.Oh, the fried rice is also really big..I ate tripe, but I can’t resist ordering fried rice, right? I was so full that I tried to take it out, but it was so delicious that I ate it all.If you go to Chicago, you must eat it.. Really..“
“Nice place with simple menu. Most customers knew what they order, maybe are repeated customers. The side dishes were nice but less choices compare to other Korean BBQ place. Taste of food was good enough, and we have plenty to eat yet we ordered seconds. Price is on the heavy side. We will return there again soon.“
“As a Korean, here is the best Korean BBQ restaurant in the town (highly recommended - after the new ownership). I go to Kogii Kogii almost every day with my colleagues, and the foods are very good, especially "Galbi - Korean BBQ"!!“
