After having a harrowing experience at another local bar a friend and myself were hesitant to enter Club 51. From the exterior this standalone building that sits off of an access road looked rather unwelcoming. We walked in and the entry room had a bloody hand print Halloween scene setter still up. In describing our experience to others we referred to this as "The Murder Room". Inside the place had a handful of regulars who were extremely friendly. First time I have ever been thrown out of a bar. The most run down nasty bar I have ever been in. I was simply thrown out because I picked up a piece of popcorn I had dropped. The bar maid thought I was puking on the floor. Nope just picking up my mess. Well I guess in a nasty biker bar with no music and warm beer one should leave the popcorn on the floor. I was asked to leave :) it was nice to be able to smoke in the bar with my beer. I miss that. Skip club 51...
