Fairly good Sushi for the prices. Nice to go bags and staff was super helpful. Will be ordering again!

Ran into the owners off the clock as I am residing at a hotel in the area, I was seated at a nearby smoking area after hours of the restaurant. Two of the owners, managers male and female both pulled up aggressively, one shining his high beams in my face while pulling up and her pulling up directly in front of me extremely fast and I had my leg out to the point where I had to pull it back fast cause it almost seemed as if she was trying to run me over. She had a Benz light that illuminated from her car onto the parking lot and as she was getting out I was complimenting her on it. She gave me the most vile dirtiest look possible and shortly after I walked back to my hotel. The sad part about it is, I’ve dined in here plenty of times, got takeout plenty’s of times, door dashed plenty of times, introduced people to this place and this was my only fave sushi place in Rockford but after this encounter I will no longer be giving them my money or service. I can take accountability that maybe the smoking area was off limits but I assumed since it was after hours their was nothing wrong with me sitting at the tables in the back of the restaurant smoking area.

Ordered takeout and noticed when I got home they forgot to include an appetizer that was purchased. I called and they wouldn’t refund the charge? Told me they would offer a credit the next time I dined with them. There won’t be a next time.

Skip the Poké here. Pre-made, mostly rice, and almost no protein included. Even with Extra protein it is pitiful.

I was very surprised, I wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it was. We had sashimi and a couple of appetizers. Portions were huge!

Best sushi at a good price for Rockford. The most important quality of great sushi is FRESH, delectable fish! Can you add a chirashi bowl to your menu? ☺️

Love their sushi since the beginning. They are always updating and making a better atmosphere. Have amazing customer service always. I come at least 1-2 times a month. Love their, burritos, and chicken poke bowls.

Quick service, nice atmosphere, and delicious food. I got the salmon poke bowl, delicious! Will return if I'm in the area again. Only complaint is that we were charged for eel sauce after ordering 3 bowls and tipping (75c for a small container). Overall good experience, would recommend.

This place, never disappoints! I have been coming here for years and it’s always delicious. Anything from the sushi to the hibachi. The service is always great whether dining in or getting carry out. The carryout bag is also super cute and reusable.
