Loved the pub atmosphere and the vivacious server. The beer and wine were great. Had the soup and salad. Soup was excellent with loads of vegi's. Salad was ok after removing the slimy pieces. Salad dressing was made in house and very tasty. The bread was excellent.Husband had the hummus bowl. Lots of fresh vegetables along with pieces of warm bread. He said it was delicious. Restaurant had vegan options.
The food is just okay. The service is just ok. They sell themselves as a trendy hipster place but what they really are is just an okay bar in a great location in downtown Rockford. My wife and I went for an Ice Hogs game the same night of another concert happening downtown. Maybe it was just a bad night.
We haven't been here in 16 years.... boy the food was prepared as well now as back then....fresh and scrumptious seasoned just right. Thank you for being consistently good. We can ALWAYS count on this establishment.
