“My brother and I were on a motorcycle trip, and were just soaked from the downpour of the last three hours. An additional storm came through, and we pulled over to ride the storm out. We were encouraged to come in side and sit for a while. Our server handed us a stack of paper towels to dry off. It was later in the evening, but got a fresh pot of coffee to get us warmed up a bit. No pressure to buy anything, just genuine concern for another human being. BUT try the Coconut Cream Pie>>>Delicious! Thank you for the hospitality and kindness you showed two road weary, wet, bearded bikers.“

“We discovered Hopewell wine at an antique store in Gilman. We decided to visit the winery a couple weeks ago. That turned out to be a great decision. The Hopewell Winery is a hidden gem.

The host (K)Caitlyn was awesome!! She welcomed us with open arms and catered to our every need. We tasted numerous wines and enjoyed conversation with Caitlyn and other friendly customers. This really made our experience a lot of fun. To our delight, all the wine was great tasting! We purchased many bottles.

We highly recommend a visit to Hopewell Winery if you are looking for excellent winery. We will be back.

“Great place to eat and you’re friends the first time there.“

“We were on a river trip to see our beautiful bald eagles, from St. Peter's MO. Stopped at different lock and dams/ places to see them. We came across this wonderful place. Home made food to order. You have to wait for your food, if you order from the menu. (which isn't too long) Or get the best buffet. Everything is wonderful . loved all of the pictures and stuff. All of the workers are wonderful.“
