“Seen reviews on this place and I just had to check it out! We opted for a thin crust Hawaiian Pizza with xtra pineapple. Open up the box and it looked and smelled amazing. Took a bite and was met by a blast of sweet pineapple, tasty sauce, thin crispy crust and cheese. Have not been fond of Hawaiian pizza before but this pizza by this store is my new favorite! The owner was super nice and made sure to greet me before I left. Staff was courteous and promptly served me. I will DEFINITELY be back!!!“
“We hosted a birthday party at Sam’s recently, and it was a great experience! Gino, Joe and their staff were very easy to work with, accommodating and professional. The room was ready to go when we arrived for set up and Gino was very attentive through the duration of the party by checking on us, ensuring we had enough food and drinks, clearing plates, etc. If you are looking to host an event, we highly recommend doing it at Sam’s. Overall, great experience and the guests all agreed!“
“I was there really to pick up an Uber Eats order so I asked about the order (if it was ready). I noticed on the order they had a cherry cheesecake so I asked if I could also get one. I grabbed it and went on my way..This cheesecake was so much more than I expected... and I didn't know that was possible. It was so smooth and creamy and the taste was just so good, not full of sugar either. Just a clean, really great flavor of original cheesecake...... then there's the cherry sauce they put over the cheesecake. It's so delicious that it's unreal. By looking at it I was hoping there was enough on it to enjoy the whole piece, I was very unsure about this but to my suprise, it was enough to last the entire piece! And what a serving size it is! It's definitely not small! And all that greatness for under $7, HOW AMAZING! “I ordered from them for the first time last night & I'm really upset that I didn't know about them sooner! We moved here in 2018 and it took THIS LONG?! I'm italian. Grew up on homemade Italian food. This place is AMAZING. the sauce gave me flashbacks to my Great grandma's. I had a little nostalgic moment with the first bite which, in my opinion, is the best compliment you can ever give a resturant. The canoli's still tasted great the next day. Not soggy like you find with previously frozen ones. My daughters birthday is coming up and I already have the menu picked out for what I want catered from them. Walking in there felt like home. It's a friendly warm environment. This will definitely be my families go to & I couldn't recommend them more. ???“
“We ordered ahead 3 medium pizzas. A meat lovers, a cheese and a pepperoni. This was SO GOOD and the husband and I are huge pizza connoisseurs . I'm pretty sure my baby is made of 95% pizza lol. The service was fast and friendly. When we got there we loved how it looked like a mom and pop place. They had the football game going so we didn't miss out on our game! “When my brother passed away unexpectedly a couple of weeks ago, we found ourselves scrambling to find a location able to accommodate the large number of people who wanted to help us honor and celebrate his life. Until one of his good friends told us, we had no idea that his favorite restaurant also had lovely banquet facilities. How perfect it turned out to be.On short notice, Sal and crew did a fabulous job helping us plan the event, and accommodating a large and grieving crowd coming together to remember my brother. For my experiment, I'll be getting a plain cheese pizza from every place to be unbiased.Primo's has been one of my favorite places I have tried so far. The cheese was very tasty and the herbs on top really helped the pizza shine. The crust was a bit crunchy on the exterior and soft on the interior, very good for those who prefer harder crust. The sauce was excellent, a good balance of zesty and sweet, the sweetness really helped the pizza stand out among the others.Overall, Primo's is a very solid pick for pizza, and at 12$ for a Large pizza, easy on the pockets.“
“We had Salmone’s cater our small wedding this past September. From beginning to end, I cannot recommend them enough. Brieanna especially was super helpful and a joy to work with. We built a small menu and everyone couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was. Specifically the mostaccioli and party pizza. If you think otherwise then you're kidding yourself.Keep in mind that 2 14" pizzas are enough to feed 12 people. Remember that and don't make the same mistakes I did!!! I'm picky about my pizza crust, but the crust was pretty good. It was firm on the outside but not too hard or crunchy, and soft on the inside but not too doughy. The cheese was my favorite part of the pizza, it was the perfect amount of cheese and very tasty. Slightly greasy, but not more than you would usually expect.Service was good, quick, and polite. The atmosphere was homey and comfy.Overall, the pizza was very delicious and a very solid option, especially considering the price, this is one of the cheapest pizza places in Rockford. “You know how it is..people only post Google reviews when it's really bad or really good. In this case, SO GOOD! I agree with previous reviews. Since this new manager took over, there have been night and day differences in their pizza quality. Not sure what he's sprinkling in this pizza (kidding of course), but I find myself craving Anna Maria's again.“
