“Haven't been here in a couple years because of bad service and ok food. We stopped in today because a coworker wanted to go here. It took a couple minutes to be greeted, so of course in my head, I'm thinking....here we go again. Then we were approached by our server and she took our drink order. When she returned, we asked for the wifi password and she didn't know what it was. Again, you know where my thoughts are going. She did return promptly with the wifi password written down for us and she apologized and let us know it was only her 2nd day. So now it's making more sense. She returned a few minutes later and took our order. She did seem to have a pretty good grasp on the menu for only her 2nd day. The food came out out hot and pretty quick. The food itself is above average bar food. Definitely better than I remembered! She checked on us often and refilled drinks. “What a fun discovery! Went looking for an early dinner spot after the Burpee Museum, to avoid driving back to Chicago in traffic. Could not have asked for better service or a cozier vibe. Seriously did not know Rockford had an arts scene, nor a funky neighborhood like the North End. Food was inventive and delicious, carefully prepared and beautifully presented. The cocktails were ??especially the Floradora and the SooLong Winter, made with a tea infusion (pic). My husband has difficulty walking but he had no issues here. The staff even gifted my daughter with an adorable moose pin for her bday ? “We love this place, and we really love Erin!! She is the best server, bartender, and wonderful person!! She makes this place one of our happy places!! I had the Mission Burrito with shrimp. It was so delicious: tons of perfectly cooked shrimp and veggies. I will definitely get that again. The potatoes with the black beans and cheese on top were soooo yummy!! The Natural with Heradura Resposado was perfect too!! We will always come back for such a good time and great food and drink!!“
“Great selection tlof mix drinks and can/bottle drinks. The bouncer is a fuzzy Corgi who checks your IDs so be prepared! Atmosphere is 'Groovy' to say the least. Only complaint was that the karaoke was very shoddily put together and the back room was very cold compared to the bar area.“

“I really enjoyed performing music here! The Tavern was clean and everyone enjoyed each other's company. Pleanty of parking, pool tables, dart boards, etc., that you expect to see in a nice tavern. The owners were awesome to work with. I hope to return there to perform again soon!“

“I ordered pulled pork sandwich from Big Papa's Still Smoking. It was the best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had ! ! ! I also ordered a take out order of ½ rack of ribs with coleslaw, and baked beans some of the best ! ! !I just wished the sides were a little bigger“

“Sat out at the beer garden, had a Samuel Adams and a couple of $1.00 tacos, the fire was going, nice and peaceful, started to get a little warm out so my friend and I went in where the air was on, chatted with a couple bikers that stopped by for a pop, visited with bartender Staci, such a sweet gal, had a pleasant stop, granted the bar gets a little "wilder" during the evening hours, but during the day usually just us old vintage players drop in“
“We visited yesterday, and the food was incredible. Our group ordered veggie wraps, boneless wings, a burger and a Reuben. We also sampled the tuna appetizer. Everything was phenomenal! Wishing I would have taken a picture of their house moscato. It’s phenomenal as well.“

“There are many bars in this area but this is perhaps maybe the best one for sports. There's plenty of space in here but it's not too big and still has a neighborhood environment. This bar has a pool table and your typical video gaming and great service the time I went there. The only problem is there is a lack of parking and one at the park across the street in a gravel pit but aside from that everything about this business is cool and hip“
