“If you read my reviews, you know we are looking for the best bar burger around. Had to try the Boars Nest for the first time. Easy to find - just look for the Dukes of Hazard car on the rooftop. Very clean with the hometown friendly feeling. Waitress was so nice and gave us great service. My husband said the hamburger was good and really liked that they sliced the onions very thin. I will definitely order the chicken stack sandwich - grilled chicken with garlic flavoring and cheese on a broche bun with lettuce tomatoe and onion. We enjoyed our lunch on a chilly day. It was a little chilly inside, but we are in Wisconsin, and we like the cold . We are keeping this on our list to try the fish on friday. Give it a try. The prices were good too.“

“The only reason for the 4 star is because we didn't eat here. However, we walked in and the bartender greeted us immediately and served us. Then chatted with us and made us feel very welcome. We headed to the beer garden and it very pleasant. Then we had a woman crack a funny joke about our sun exposure today while she was straitening the chairs. We continued to enjoy the chat. It's a bar we will definitely go back to.“

“My friend and I popped in yesterday for the first time. There are many places to grab a drink but there's something about Kimkasi Pub that feels more special. The drink menu was extensive with many interesting options. The fresh pretzels were a tasty surprise to tie us over until dinner. The bartender was kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our hour here. “BEST food I’ve had in a long time!! And I eat out a lot! Happened upon Badger Bobs on our way to our daughters place. Past it, turned around, went back. Sooo glad we did! Our waitress was amazing, the food was fantastic, atmosphere to match! All this and I only had a burger!!! Highly recommend!“

“This place treats you great! We stopped in (not from the area) to have late lunch, and the folks there offered great service and hospitality. The owner was there and made sure to also ask if we needed anything. The food was very good. We will come back when I the area again.“

“Always a good time in here. Majority of bartenders don’t have that fake attitude to make a tip and pass time. They have good frozen pizzas. You can definitely hear about the town drama from the majority of the locals. The owners have put a lot of hard work into this place. They are also great people and always very happy and inviting.Driving through or staying a while. Definitely make a point to stop.“

“Stopped for a quick meal passing through Walworth. We all got burgers and were not disappointed. The signature cruise in burger was excellent - albeit a little messy with the yummy sauce dripping into your hand. The fries were hot and fresh and crisp. The place had a homey feel - comfortable and tables not too close to each other.“

“Great little (not really little at all) neighborhood bar! The owners, John, Tim & Tom have nonstop energy and are the consumate hosts. All the customers know each other and are really welcoming to newbies. They make watching football on Sundays a blast. We will for sure be regulars from now on.“

“Stopped by for a quick lunch and drink. Atmosphere was nothing special, tables were clean and they had a pool table near the bar. There was a large outdoor picnic/smoking area (pictured). They had several poker/slot machine and pull tabs. Bartender was also cooking that day. She did a great job balancing drink and food orders. Bloody Mary was good, and cheap! Would have preferred a little more garnish options. Drinks were a decent sized pour, especially for the price. Menu included standard bar food, but was done really well. Sliders were perfectly cooked (pictured) and only $1.75 fully loaded. Hot dog was a traditional Chicago Style (pictured), meal was two hotdogs, chips, and a beer for $7. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a quick spot for good drinks and bar food.“

“Meandering on bike trip with a buddy between STL and Milwaukee. Stopped in for a PBR at the Blue Roadhouse. Tammy, the owner, and her customers chatted with us like family. If you find yourself on HWY A near Elkhorn, WI do yourself a favor, stop in, join in, and make new lifetime friends.“
