“Good ol' Sammy's!! Open at 9 AM. It's the kind of place I start my goin' places and doin' things on the Harley. It's a friendly establishment each time we have been there. Bartenders are very cordial and attentive. The thing that trips my trigger is they have Twisted fricken Tea on tap!!! It is so refreshing, with a lemon, on a hot day. If your not a fan of it in a can or bottle, this is the ticket!! Stop in and have a few. I recommend.“
“Before visiting, I reached out through email with some dietary questions. Reenie was very quick to respond and went above and beyond to prepare a meal that perfectly met my needs. Then she even came to check on me during our dinner! “Went there for the pizza and was not disappointed. Their pizza has good flavor and a lot of character. Good value for the money. Saw lots of people eating regular dinners, and they seem to be enjoying it. Looking forward to trying out their prime rib one Saturday. Nice place, friendly people. Like others though, I think they're short on service people. The wait time wasn't long, and the food was good. Highly recommend it“
“The Friday fish fry was delicious. Some of our group had cod, I had the bluegill. All the food came out hot and crispy, plus the potato pancakes were good too. I'll be back to try the Italian beef special on Thursday. We did have to wait at the bar for a table but it was well worth the wait.“
“Awesome staff! Love the people working here - they were so nice and helpful with everything.Loved the beer - hazy IPA is so good. Double IPA was a bit sweet according to hubby, but he wasn’t complaining.We had a private party so I can’t comment on food, but it didn’t look like they had any.Renting the place for a private party was very nice and everything ran super smoothly. So much fun, and I will definitely go back for their IPA, even though they’re 50 minutes away… that’s saying a lot.“
“Outstanding fish fry! I had the perch, 2 large filets, 2 potato pancakes, homemade slaw (nice and crunchy), and homemade tartar sauce. Breading was just right. My friend had the cod and was equally pleased. Ate at the bar with several other diners. Bartenders are friendly and mix a proper old fashioned (tall boy) from scratch, no pre-mix! For sure we'll be back!“
“My husband and I had dinner here and it was FANTASTIC. I don’t know where to start on describing how great our meal was. Everything was delicious, the drinks were amazing. The service was wonderful! Everything was perfect. This restaurant was also super busy and packed (a sign of a good restaurant) and we still were able to be served at a good pace!“
“If you get to know all the wonderful ladies behind the bar... They always make you feel welcome!My wife had some issues that the owner needed to be involved. Very professional, responded immediately, and most of all knowing we were regulars,( I think) gave us respect when he could've done what all the other businesses do. ( Nothing! )“

“It is worth the wait, understand this restaurant is very popular.When it is full,sometimes the food quality drops a little,ex: fries may need to be cooked a little longer or maybe you asked for ranch and got ketchup. Politely,ask and the waitress and kitchen make up any slips in the order.“

“At 1st I wasn't sure if this was a bar or not I thought it was just apartments with a cool old tavern sign in back. It is a bar and it's worth checking out really nice and clean good staff and nice customers as well. Good prices nice environment right on the highway.“

When I recently went, I bought a signature drink, one of the best Long Islands I have had in a long time.The place is so unique that I could have sat there and just enjoyed all the artwork.If you are coming through Elkhorn WI or near it, this Gem is worth the stop.“
“Great place. We where in town and got something to eat but seen they had a sign showing lemonade shack ups. Went inside and met the owner, I had a vodka lemonade, my wife a regular, and my son had a virgin daiquiri. Very friendly staff and the owner was outstanding. Talked to her for about 15 minutes. Very reasonable prices and atmosphere was nice inside. I would recommend checking them out.“
