“Went there for the pizza and was not disappointed. Their pizza has good flavor and a lot of character. Good value for the money. Saw lots of people eating regular dinners, and they seem to be enjoying it. Looking forward to trying out their prime rib one Saturday. Nice place, friendly people. Like others though, I think they're short on service people. The wait time wasn't long, and the food was good. Highly recommend it“
“We came here for Friday night fish fry. The place was packed when we walked in and packed when we left. People sometimes had to wait a little bit for a seat, but rarely did anyone leave before eating. I ordered fish tacos, which were delicious. The bartender was friendly. The place was clean and nicely furnished. I would eat here again.Parking: Small lot with two end spots next to a boardwalk over the water. Careful you don't fall in!“
“I grew up in Burlington and have been coming here since I was a child. I took my fiance here to try it and he loved it as much as I do. They are closed in winter which sucks (but makes total sense). The custard is amazing and the prices are still reasonable. Every time I come here (which isn't as much as I'd like) I am reminded of my childhood and how it felt coming here with my parents and friends when I was older. The people there are friendly even though most of them are teens working but they work hard and are appreciated for sure! There is a SMALL area to sit inside and eat but I usually take my order to go and eat in the car or at the park across the street if it's nice enough out. I hope this place stays around for many many more years so I can bring my son and future children here. And maybe their children too?? (Hopefully).“
“Wow, I’m a huge fan of barbecue and this place is the real deal!! Very high quality smoked meats and his homemade sauces are perfection. On top of all that, Jacob and his staff truly understand how to provide top notch service. We will definitely be back soon!!“
“I was in Burlington for work reasons and tried Sheila Mae's for breakfast. They have an excellent menu with lots of reasonably priced options. I had the "Burly Breakfast" consisting of two eggs, three pancakes, bacon, toast, and coffee. It was very good. The restaurant is small, with a cozy atmosphere. You seat yourself, and if you need the restroom you have to walk down a flight of stairs. Not very handicap accessible. Wait staff was very competent.Overall a good experience.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome. If they are crying or yelling you will notice it as the place is fairly small and loud sounds fill the space.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible.“
“The Friday fish fry was delicious. Some of our group had cod, I had the bluegill. All the food came out hot and crispy, plus the potato pancakes were good too. I'll be back to try the Italian beef special on Thursday. We did have to wait at the bar for a table but it was well worth the wait.“
“The Fish Fry (available in 2 or 3 pc) was great with awesome homemade potato pancakes. It also came with delicious homemade coleslaw, tarter sauce & chunky cinnamon applesauce.Parking: Public parking alongside the restaurant. Also parking available across the tracks on both sides of the street. There is also a corral for your horses if out on a ride.“
“Great little bar and Grill. The food was a little above average.Service was good. As you can imagine, there’s a very rustic flair to the decor.Vegetarian options: A few optionsDietary restrictions: NoKid-friendliness: Moderately kids friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Shanahan's is the place to go. Way better than Brew52 - a chill spot to read, do work, or be with friends. Seasonal drinks are always the bomb (but their regular menu is a great go-to). Love love their thai chicken salad (so gooddd) and all of their coffee. I always get one coffee drink and then one light seltzer drink and I feel light and happy the rest of the day. Absolutely go here!“
“Outstanding fish fry! I had the perch, 2 large filets, 2 potato pancakes, homemade slaw (nice and crunchy), and homemade tartar sauce. Breading was just right. My friend had the cod and was equally pleased. Ate at the bar with several other diners. Bartenders are friendly and mix a proper old fashioned (tall boy) from scratch, no pre-mix! For sure we'll be back!“
“It is worth the wait, understand this restaurant is very popular. When it is full, sometimes the food quality drops a little,ex: fries may need to be cooked a little longer or maybe you asked for ranch and got ketchup. Politely, ask and the waitress and kitchen make up any slips in the order.“
“four and a half stars really... knocking off that half star bc i only give 5 full stars to complete standout/shout from the rooftop places. everything was good here - service, ambiance, food. the menu covers it all - mexican and tex mex plus all the margaritas and cocktails. really no complaints! the food is good, again nothing memorable but good enough to spread the word. our server was extremely attentive and personable and food came out fast. this is definitely not a typical mexican restaurant - it really is a pub with mexican food... with a bit of biker bar feel ;) lots of character!“
“Amazing details of old world craftsmanship all over the bar. Gorgeous paneling on walls and ceiling. Beautiful stained glass light fixtures. Delicious food. My husband and I enjoyed the burgers. Upgraded to the fries and tots. We will definitely be back!“
“Food is always great and all of the servers are usually al very nice. Me and my mother love coming here. The decorations in the restaurant are really cool and interesting. If you are in the area and want some delicious food at great prices, I recommend you come here.“
“Went to have lunch with my husband and daughter today. A woman came in and you could tell she was on something. This woman came around the bar shortly after to sit next to my family. Tracy who was the bartender asked her politely but firmly to go back to her seat. She made an uncomfortable situation go smoothly because of her quick actions. Appreciate you so much!! ❤️“
“Stopped by on a random weekend after doing a "close our eyes and pick a random spot on the map for a road trip". We didn't have food, but sat for a few cocktails. The local crowd was so fun and our bartender "Fiona" was a kick. (Not her real name but she knows who she is!) Speaking some code here, Fiona, don't get caught doing the superglue trick! Hope to see you at "Cabana's" some day but if not we"ll be back for sure.“
“Is it wrong for a senior to use the word 'cute' for a facility? I truly love places like this one that are slowly fading away. You can see the history of this establishment. The 2 women working here really do take care of their patrons regardless if they are regulars or new such as myself. But the real star is the food. As simple omelet that really tasted excellent. Every part of the omelet made it great.“
“Food is always good. Service is a bit slow. Sometimes really good, sometimes a bit slow. Younger staff, so that says it all. But they are all very friendly and try very hard. We always go back. Wide open atmosphere, lots of room, can wait at the bar. Always call ahead of time or make a reservation.Parking: Parking right in front of entrance. Can drop off AT the door, park, and come on in. Handicap spots are available.Kid-friendliness: All the staff is extremely friendly.“
“The food here is AMAZING! Especially the Mac n' Cheese (highly recommend). Although it is usually quite busy, the service is usually pretty good. It is a little expensive in my taste, you definitely get what you pay for. Once again the food is immaculate. The interior design is also really unique giving you a little history of Wisconsin. Overall, I do recommend coming here. One minus though is since it is really busy, it can be quite loud at times, so if you don't do well in loud environments I would advise you order takeout from here instead.“
“Great Mukwonago neighborhood bar local hang out right by Phantom Lake!Amber took good care of us as we were hungry and thirsty after touring Lake House Real Estate all day and that burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life!!“
“I always enjoy the food when I come here. They have a very large selection of food. The service is always amazing. Not to mention the interior design is elegant and very beautiful. It has a very nice consistent theme to it as well. I would recommend this restaurant.“
“Living only several miles from the Suhmer's Motel in the Town of Eagle, and the apparent very nice rustic accommodations as per the photos, me and Sally will visit for a weekend relax getaway, now that the Confederate flag has been removed from the front walkway. This is most appreciated...“
“New owner took it over in 2021 so dont have to worry about those orher comments with previous owner. I think its funny...some of the comments with food.... they NEVER even had on the menu! Also going through changes yes i seen there was a period of going through new barteders . Great and friendly service. Love going Wednesday for bingo, wings, and dinks! So friendly and welcoming. GOOD FOOD!“
“Nice small town restaurant. Free street parking. I had the Western Burger with tater tots and it was a very good tasting burger. The menu was not extensive which is good when you have ADD but there wasn't a lot to crave either. The waitress was very attentive and overall customer service was very good. I didn't try the fish but it was a thumbs up for my partner.“
“This is truly a special restaurant! The food was amazing!!!! The drinks were unique and refreshing, the atmosphere is lovely and so rare in restaurants today that if you don't make this a destination for your next dining experience you are truly missing out! We had an opportunity to meet the chef and talk with the owner, they are both wonderful and passionate about BJ Wentker's. If I lived closer I'd dine there weekly. Wow!!“
“THEE BEST Chicago Style Hot Dog I have ever had...Hands Down...!! "I" have eaten many of Hot Dog at just as many Places, Cities & States that try to do what Flippy's does. But they can't.Gyro Sandwich...5*Italian Beef...........5*“
“I went there with a big group, and they did an amazing job handling it. Because of our group, it was pretty busy, so it was a full place and the atmosphere was a little worse, but it was amazing as Culver's always is. Love you Craig Culver ???Dietary restrictions: They have solid gluten free buns that are an amazing option.“
“This place was really good. The service was quick, the waitress was very sociable. Her manager, however, was very rude. She used vulgar language in front of customer and loud enough for people to hear towards her employee. Food was really good though.“
“Awesome healthy food at a fair price. Love the atmosphere. Although when I tell them no utensils or napkins or tartar sauce it's all still in the bag....? I hate wasting thingsVegetarian options: Lots of wonderful options, Cranberry salad is my favoriteParking: Well litKid-friendliness: Staff is friendly without the kids“
“Don’t sleep on Eagle Springs! We ate there over the summer and have done take out 2x since. Great servers both in restaurant and for pick ups! The wings are superb, crispy and offer delicious sauce options - we love whiskey bbq, Jamaican jerk and spicy garlic! Food always quick and on time. We stopped making wings at home because I can get close to their crispy wings.“
“Originally left the only bad review I've ever left anywhere ever. The club reconsidered a refund of a prepaid scramble due to weather and I appreciate the emails they sent to keep us up to date on the weather. I will 100% be back to play in multiple events next year.“
“Saw the billboard on the interstate and googled it. Looked good so we took a chance. Staff was so nice. Chatted with us, asked how we found the place. Turns out it was Gus himself. He was genuine in inviting us back when the weather is nice for the classic car shows in the summer. Food was yummy and tasty! Loved the sour cream and chives fries!“
