“These are some fine folks! Excellent food, top notch service. Kind of like a “Cheers” spot for us in that they know your name and what you drink and are always on their game! The servers work very hard and the cooks are excellent. Owner is very approachable and a good guy. Get on their text list so you know when the smoked corned beef reubens are available! Highly recommend!“

“The Tavern on Clark is amazing! My daughter and I were traveling from out of town and were recommended this place! The manager went out of his way to accommodate us and find us a table. They were so busy. We didn’t have a reservation. But he was so kind and helpful, working out a way for us to have a wonderful dinner! Our server was so efficient. The food was as delicious as we were hoping! Literally my daughter’s burger was HUGE! The potato fries were cooked to perfection. I had a BBQ chicken salad that was so fresh and tasted amazing! We come to Rockford for soccer a few times a year. We will be back for sure!“

“It was so refreshing to find a restaurant/bar attached to a hotel. The bartender was amazing. Wings were good. Beer was cold. We woke up taking about what a great experience we had here.
To whomever was complaining about the prices~you must not get out much. This was convenient and we were served efficiently. No complains here!“

“Took my wife out to green fire, I am very critical in my reviews as you could see if you look at my reviews. This place is by far the best place around, bar none.the food was very exceptional, and the service was better then I have had any wear. I hope they keep this up. As for anyone who said any different is clearly hard to please. The staff was very attentive to our needs, which says a lot about the staff. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to eat. AAA +++ hands down.“
