“Being out of town, this place had a unique and old time feel. Beer was good, place was clean, and bathroom was on point. This place has some history and was cool to discover all the stories behind it! Was a good place for a small group to go hang out, play pool, have a drink, and get out of the cold!“
“Great place! This place is a dive bar, but I came in with my 9, 5 and 3 year old before an event at sycamore speedway. The bartender and guests gave is no grief about bringing kids to a bar. We ordered half the menu and everything was delicious. The wings, quesadilla, cheese curds and burgers were awesome. The price is super cheap, Service was great and food was delicious !“
“They really only serve pizzas there but they’re super yummy and flavors you can’t get in a store! Try the white garlic! So good. I adore their dogs and when it’s not too busy you get to play with them which for me- makes me always want to visit them! Patches is my bud!! ❤️ the bartenders are great! We adore Bradley. The owners are always around and very friendly. It’s a great place to hang. Lots of bands and karaoke to enjoy as well!“
“First time there. The food was ok, atmosphere was decent, the service was amazing. Melissa was amazing ? , she is only reason I would go back, good service is hard to findUpdate. I went in the other day because I had such a great first experience with out waitress n the service we had, but went in the other day and WOW all I heard is like screaming from the kitchen from what I would assume is a supervisor or manager screaming at an employee saying " I will ? you and send you home early today".......yeah AWKWARD I turned my self around n went home. No one should threaten or talk to an employee like that EVER smdhNever stepping foot in this place again, lead by example n treat your employee's with respect, unacceptable at all, shame on you!!!!!!“
“I usually don’t leave reviews but After living in Kingston for almost three years I have no clue why we haven’t tried this place sooner. The food was excellent! My expectations were blown away, the chicken was cooked to perfection, the batter was just crispy enough. I always judge my first time to a restaurant on how they make the chicken and this place gets an A+. The burgers were amazing as well! I highly recommend the five points burger, I never thought cheese curds and barbecue sauce on a burger could be so delicious. The fries were top notch too and the price was reasonable. It was a few minutes before anyone noticed we had sat down but that gave us time to take in the atmosphere which was nice, it could use a little tiny bit more decoration in the table section of the building but it was otherwise welcoming and had a nice old town feel to it. The old Mario cabinet and pool table added a lot of charm and we even tried the arcade game, it worked great and was nice to play while waiting for the food. The bathrooms were the cleanest I’d seen in a bar and the place in general looked like it had been kept up and cleaned nicely. The service was also great, we never had an empty drink and the server was very kind and accommodating. Overall even though we just stopped there for a casual meal I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be returning time and time again in the future. 10/10. If you’re ever passing through Kingston and need some good food, a drink or somewhere to pass the time, this is the place.“
“I like going to Cubbies because of the family atmosphere. I am able to choose non-alcoholic beverages without any embarrassment. I can purchase instant scratch-off lottery tickets from the machine or the regular tickets from the bartender.“
“Inside 4 seasons bowling alley, they have whatever you need to quench your thirst, try your hand at shuffle board or on the pool tables or maybe you can get lucky playing slots. Popcorn often offered for free and a Small eatery inside the alley for a bigger appetite. Highly recommend a stop, bowling or not.“
“Friends of ours have been telling us about this for years, so after a basketball game at NIU the group went over to give it a try. I got the Ultimate Margarita, which is one of the best margaritas I have ever had. I ordered the Taxco Burrito, which are actually three mini burritos. I got the chicken and it was excellent. My one son got chicken fajitas and he loved them. My other son was disappointed a bit. He ordered beef tacos and received ground beef. I think it was that he failed to order "steak" tacos. The chips are very good and they give you both mild and hot salsa. The mild was flavorful but very mild. The hot had a real kick to it, but was excellent. Next time I may mix them and come up with a medium salsa. Service was excellent as well. It wasn't that crowded for a Saturday evening, surprisingly. The food was so good I brought home a Taxco Burrito for my wife to enjoy, It was enough for dinner and them leftovers for lunch. This is a really good choice if you love traditional Mexican.“

“This is a review of the chicken wings. They are, without a doubt the largest and most normal looking full sized and fully whole chicken wing that I have tried in the area. I haven't tried the wings at Dirty Bird so I'll get back to you. I got six whole wings at just under $17 bucks. They are very lightly breaded and naked with sauce on the side, just like I love 'em. My only issue is that the breading was way, way WAY TOO SALTY !! I could only eat two of them. If the kitchen could tweak that salt level in the breading, you'd have one of the best wings in the area.“
“I grew up going to this place. It has really nice food and drink and I've made a lot of memories there. I also like that nothing is overpriced. Everything is reasonable. The place is clean and super nice. The people who are there to service you are always kind and have always started really good conversations. I really enjoy being there. One of my favorite places to bowl for all times.“
