“They have a large menu of of maki and sushi! It was so hard to choose! The fish was fresh and the combinations in the rolls were amazing. My daughter also got the ramen (shoyu I think) and it was excellent. The broth was so rich! We all loved it!“

“I usually go to the location in south Rouckford on state street. We decided to order to this location not knowing this is a chain restarant. My mistake, I pre ordered online two hours in advance. I arrived 15 minutes late and I still waited ten minutes for my food, no big deal right...things happen. What made me comment is when I got home, two orders were missing, the sushi we ordered had minimal fish but packed with cucumber, which is used as a filler. The rolls were basically vegetarian....very disappointed. I hate to leave a poor review but this was a $80 dinner that was not good. The location on state street has never done this.“

“China House is our neighborhood go-to place for the best Chinese food in Town!! Always big portions at a reasonable price. When I was in there just the other day I noticed they had expanded and there was a sign that said coming soon - China House Buffet. How wonderful that they are expanding and have kept going. A great family-owned restaurant.“
