“The persons were nice and welcoming just like the place, and the food was delicious. Honestly in my opinion it’s the best sushi I’ve ever had. The one with sauce on it is the California Crunch Roll. It’s a mix of delicious flavors with a bit of sweet to it, and it was delicious I really recommend it. And the other one is called Big Mouth, it’s a bit spicy but it’s really good. Specially if you like spicy stuff I recommend it. But overall I totally recommend this place, and you can also takeout which is really helpful if your in a hurry.“

“Love this place!!! Great prices and everything is SO fresh!! love the quality and the packaging is so cute and sustainable. They always make sure to cordon off the wasabi from the sushi which I love too because I don't care for it in the slightest but my husband loves it so I always give him mine. I don't know anywhere else I can get this quality combined with the price. 3 rolls for under $30 is unbeatable in my opinion. “Sushi lover here. Ordered couple times 3 rolls lunch special and it was great. The quality of the rolls is top notch. Today I went to try the signature nigiri and Ari maki along with their house sake and it was just amazing.
Make sure to try the Zuke salmon nigiri, Yellowtail signature nigiri and the Big eye tuna nigiri as well. They are all wow😌“

“My girlfriend and I recently visited. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was really good, it reminded me of visiting my family in japan, who I have been missing a lot recently. I did find the 20% service charge a bit surprising. I did not see any signage for it or any notice on the menu. I was unsure if it was meant to take place of a tip. I also found it a bit odd that the wait staff would speak to me in Japanese, however, around my girlfriend (who was also using japanese and ordering from the japanese menu), they would speak in English only.“

“If you want authentic food an amazing experience then this is your go to. The owners are hardworking and they do everything themselves. When you come here, you will be greeted by the hostess/waitress with a smiling face. A sweet Japanese man will be making the sushi and a lovely woman in the kitchen preparing with love all of the hot dishes. It is places like this that I love to eat, quite the opposite of the corporate chain restaurants who give you minimal while charging the max. This place does the opposite. You get the full value out of your dollar and it is well spent. The freshness of the sushi and the flavor of the chicken yakitori are second to none, because love is an ingredient that is not often found in restaurants anymore. Please do yourself a favor and bring your family to a restaurant that you will feel wholesome while filling you up.“

Immaculate tempura and generally have your order ready quick and fresh.

I got the Edomar Tempura plate and loved it.
I especially love how when you get the plate they include the grated daikon in your tentsuyu! The only place in the US I've seen even include it.

Absolutely try it out if you haven't yet. I highly recommend any combo that includes a shishito pepper with it!“

“If you like chocolate then this is definitely a place worth visiting. There is an interwebs video thingy about how they make the chocolate which inspired us to visit. The chocolate is more european in style, and also not too sweet. I loved it and also exploring the japanese market nearby. A fun afternoon!“

I've been coming to this Teriyaki Madness location with my coworkers for about two years, and it's always been one of our go-to lunch spots. My previous visit was disappointing due to burnt orange chicken and a very small portion of meat, so I left an honest review with photos.

Shortly afterward, Nik Patel responded, apologized, acknowledged the mistake, and invited me to contact the manager, Killian, so they could make it right. I stopped back in today, and they absolutely did. My replacement meal was fresh, properly prepared, generously portioned, and exactly what I've come to expect from this location. More importantly, everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making things right.

Mistakes happen at every restaurant. What really matters is how a business responds, and this team handled it the right way. I truly appreciate the excellent customer service and the willingness to stand behind their food. Because of that, I'll continue coming back and would recommend giving them a try.“

“Absolutely fantastic! I ordered the Kaiseki Bento with Salmon, and it was a feast! The grilled salmon was perfectly cooked—crispy skin with tender, flaky meat. The bento came with miso soup, fresh salad, delicious gyoza, tempura that was light and crispy, and a few California rolls that rounded out the meal beautifully. Great presentation and flavor. “Went to Yakitori Toritetsu inside Mitsuwa Marketplace, The setup honestly caught my attention right away. It looks like one of those little street grill spots you’d see in Japan. Small counter, grill going, smell of meat in the air… yeah, that smell pulls you in fast. No line when I got there. Staff was friendly but very straight to the point. Order, grill, done. Food came out quick.

It’s basically meat on a stick. The grill gives the meat this nice char on the outside, slightly smoky, and the inside stays juicy. The chicken I had was really tender, soft bite, not dry at all. Each piece had that salty grilled flavor that hits right away, then the smoky taste follows after. Hard to explain but it’s really satisfying.

I did think it could use just a little more seasoning or maybe a stronger glaze… but honestly the simple salt worked. It lets the chicken flavor come through more.

Simple food. Skewers, grill, done right. Sometimes that’s all you need.“
