“Sushi lover here. Ordered couple times 3 rolls lunch special and it was great. The quality of the rolls is top notch. Today I went to try the signature nigiri and Ari maki along with their house sake and it was just amazing.
Make sure to try the Zuke salmon nigiri, Yellowtail signature nigiri and the Big eye tuna nigiri as well. They are all wow😌“

“I frequent this sushi spot and I absolutely love it. The food is so good that I always just want to go back! The servers and the chef are friendly. It is small so it has a pleasant atmosphere too.

My only suggestion is that they add more vegetarian options. I always have to create my own off menu sushi.“

“I stopped by K Teriyaki in Niles and tried the Chicken Teriyaki lunch special. I placed my order at 11:46 and received it at 12:02, so the wait was pretty reasonable. They also have an online ordering option if you’re short on time.
As far as the food goes, I’d put it on the higher end of middle-of-the-road for me. It’s not the best teriyaki I’ve ever had, but it’s certainly not the worst. The chicken had a slight char, which I enjoyed, and the steamed vegetables—cabbage, broccoli, and carrots—were still crunchy rather than overcooked.

I also like that the teriyaki sauce comes on the side instead of the chicken being covered in it. You can add as much or as little as you want, which gives you more control over the calories and can be helpful for people with dietary restrictions.

It’s a family-friendly spot, too, with high chairs and booster seats available right by the door.

They have five lunch specials, and I’ve decided I’m going to work my way through all of them. The Chicken Teriyaki was a solid start and landed on the higher end of middle-of-the-road for me. I’m looking forward to trying the other four to see which one comes out on top.“

“I’ve been searching for a great place for sushi and I’ve finally found it at Tekka! The sushi is outstanding here and very fresh! The menu has a long list of options for all! The staff is quick to serve you and is very friendly and knowledgeable! The entire place is immaculate and tastefully decorated! “Everything was absolutely delicious! The grilled mackerel was the highlight of the meal—so juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We also loved the gyoza, which were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor. The miso soup was fresh, comforting, and a perfect start to the meal. The Daikiri Salad was also excellent—fresh, light, and a great complement to the rest of the dishes.

“Very high quality. Only downfall is if you’re in a big group they only allow you to order 10 items per 5 mins. That could include rice/drinks so for the 5 of us, we had to use the first half of our order on rice/drinks. Kind of sucks for that. Other than that it’s good.“

“Now one of my favorite restaurants! My friend and I came in for dinner, and everything was amazing! The atmosphere was so inviting and warm, the food was fresh and tasty, the complementary tea was super delicious, and the owner/chef/waitress was so kind and an absolute gem!

I had the beef bento box, and it was hot and fresh and extremely good. There is so much food you get in each of the bentos! My friend had the chicken katsu dinner and it was the best katsu we've ever had.

“We were so excited to have found this new place for yummy sushi poke bowl! We adore that modernized look of the restaurant and there are a lot of variety of poke bowls to choose from. My boys like the mushroom and California rolls sushi while I enjoyed the spicy hot fish poke bowl a lot. The staff and owner were super friendly and nice. The place was stylish, neat and clean. The sashimi was fresh and delicious! The food was served fast and the price was reasonable too. We are definitely coming back!“

Immaculate tempura and generally have your order ready quick and fresh.

I got the Edomar Tempura plate and loved it.
I especially love how when you get the plate they include the grated daikon in your tentsuyu! The only place in the US I've seen even include it.

Absolutely try it out if you haven't yet. I highly recommend any combo that includes a shishito pepper with it!“

“This continues to be my favorite place in the food court. The food is always fresh. You can't go wrong with what you get. The curry is the best one out of all the places in the food court. The Udon noodles are always perfectly cooked. They offer fresh tempura flakes, green onion, ginger, sauces, and seasonings on the side as well. Highly recommend trying! The chicken skewers are consistently good. I personally enjoy the chicken thigh skewers. Also, the sausage skewers are pretty consistent in flavor.

I have tried their takoyaki multiple times. I feel it’s a hit-or-miss. Sometimes they are fresh, other times, they are a bit stale. But I still order them.

The same goes for their chicken skin skewers - they could also be a hit-or-miss.

Overall, whenever I visit Mitsuwa, I always order from Toritetsu. :)“

“Got Pork Tonkatsu with house sauce curry. Was $16.99. Came with 2 pork cutlets, good helping of rice, and a salad with what tasted like thousand island dressing. Pork was crispy and tender, sause was a slightly sweeter curry, rice was well cooked. Over all great price for food. Lady at counter was very polite and food took about 8min to cook. “I have been to this place a couple of times now and love the options that they have on their menu. I love their Poke Bowls. They give you amazing portion size. I have had their sushi as well and truly enjoy the options and portion sizes with them. Prices are great and the location is perfect for you to grab a meal and then catch a movie right across the street.“
