“I almost never write reviews but this is truly a gem. My wife and I are huge fans of Central Asian foods and we've been to quite a few. Before coming here we read a review saying that this was the best Central Asian restaurant in the Chicago area. And we can confirm that that is 100% correct. We're so glad that we found this new Kyrgyz restaurant just 20 minutes away from us.
We visited on a Tuesday night but man was it packed. Probably because it was Ramadan. Staff was friendly. And every single dish was so authentic and perfectly eexecuted. We left with very full and satisfied stomachs.
Just for reference, these were the dishes we ordered: Beef skewers, boorsok, mampar soup, lentil soup, lagman, and eggplant salad. All were great as mentioned.“

Our server, Connor, was truly one the best servers we've ever had in recent years. He was so positive about everything, extremely friendly, was well versed in veganism, checked in on us often and made wonderful suggestions! Truly amazing!!“

“Ok ordered there twice in the past week again. Tried something new this time, romaine, chicken, broccoli, eggs and cheese and just as good as the bowl i get with purple rice, chicken and broccoli. Oh and cant forget the yum yum sauce! ❤️❤️ absolutely love there food ❤️❤️ Wish we had one in the Lockport area. I can only get it when I'm at work in Downers Grove or Lagrange.“

“Dinner | $20–30 Service is very poor here, especially after they hired a new chef who uses garbage ingredients and does not even use the ingredients that is listed on the food description. We ordered the basil Thai rice with chicken after having a good experience the first time with nice large pieces of white meat chicken. Well sadly the second time instead of using chicken, they put a bunch of mushrooms and there are not supposed to be any mushrooms in there and there was not any chicken. So I called and I spoke with Annie, who was supposed to be the manager. She said that I would have my next mail free. So I called today and ordered basil fried rice with chicken. Instead of getting basil fried rice with chicken I got a small container of brown rice plain and then a container of something that looks like ground beef with a few basil, leafs and onion. It was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever had and it was absolutely not basil fried rice. It looked like they ground up chicken organs, and it tasted even worse. I would avoid this place at all cost because clearly they don’t care about quality and service any longer and when they make a big mistake, they double down and make the mistake again and they don’t really care to make things right.“

“I went to Wok n Fire for my first time tonight and got to experience it a little differently with it being the first day you are able to dine indoors since COVID. “THE BEST FOOD EVER OMG???I am so impressed! Their fish is the BEST with boiled rice omg I fulfilled my fish craving by having this?excellent service and excellent atmosphere! I was so impressed! Perfect place for a nice lunch/dinner, the place gives warm feels! Every time I come here I get almost the same thing every time which is the fish I posted in the picture with plain rice and hakkah noodles. It was THE BEST. Best part is I live just 5 minutes away from here so I can come here anytime just for the fish?if you’re ever in the suburbs I suggest coming here, you won’t be disappointed!“

“We've come to Sushi Time enough times that the owner knows my son by name and his order. (I'm actually surprised it took me this long to review!) Sally and Mike are wonderful people who go above and beyond in customer service. Be it chatting with my son, cutting up the maki rolls into smaller pieces for him, or remembering GF soy sauce - I'm always so impressed. While my son and I indulge in the rolls, my husband has shown me their menu is extensive and includes other delicious meals including the fried rice, crab rangoons, and chicken katsu. Keep doing what you're doing! We always enjoy our lunch visits.“

“The Front Desk staff, Mitchell was extremely friendly, courteous and knowledgeable and we enjoyed our dinner thanks to the excellent service he provided. The food too was well prepared and tasty. What was disappointing was the extra dine-in 18 percent surcharge over and above other taxes on our bill! Not happy!“
