“We loved the ambiance of this Irish Pub! The Christmas decor and lights make it a wonderland! The band was great and the pub has so much charm!

This all made up for the 3 bartenders who were more worried about talking to their friends than waiting on customers. We waited 20 min, as did customers next to us, staff looked right at us and kept talking to their friends. A bartender with curly hair- she actually scowled at us for asking to place a drink order. Exception was one bartender who had very long straight dark brown hair: she was awesome and was doing all of the others work with a huge smile on her face! She was great! It was a busy night that the restaurant could have had higher cash flow if the others focused on drink orders. We'll be back though, really great place!“

“This place kind of reminds me of Cheers... what food is fresh, hot, amazing the servers are super friendly animated and it's probably the best restaurant I've been to since before covid. I recommend asking for Tyler if he's on dudy for a server. Also there's a server named Izzy who is like really nice and I kind of wish we could have had two servers cuz they all act like family can't find a place like that anymore.“

“I stopped by this place while waiting for an oil change nearby. The layout of the restaurant was really fun — you can see the ice rink right next to it, which felt straight out of a high school movie. I loved the classic American diner vibe. It wasn’t too crowded, which made it feel even more local and cozy.

There were claw machines and candy dispensers here and there, which added to the charm. The server was super friendly and welcoming. I ordered a drink, some chili, and a burger. The food wasn’t amazing, but it was decent. Overall, it’s a very chill place. I feel like it’d be a fun spot to stop by once in a while to grab a drink and hang out with a friend.“

“This place is a hidden gem. Food and service were excellent. Hard to find great or even good German food nowadays. We had Rouladen, Sauerbraten and Osso Buco, all were excellent. Exceeded our expectations, we’ll be going back for sure. Servers and chef/kitchen staff were fantastic.“

“Berger bros is a regular spot for us and for many in our area! Great food done well. Casual setting. Long time professional servers - shout out to the bartender. Outdoor patio is very nice and often will have live music. We are slowly making our way through the menu- we repeat often for the tuna, chicken sandwich, smash burger, grouper. We can sub a side salad for fries the cheesecake is amazing treat and large enough to share!

“I had a chance to swing in last week and it's a nice, comfortable setting. The food was excellent if you are interested in Austrian/German bites. The people working here were super nice compared to similar tyes of places in the area. They even had a 50% off beer special going on! I will be returning for sure.“

“The establishment is now called Angeli's. This restaurant is located right in the heart of a beautiful golf course, I wish we had planned to eat outdoot. The owner was extremely nice and accommodating to us, adding vegetables at no charge since we are vegetarians. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and the vodka sauce was creamy and dreamy.“

“This is a great hang right above the theater, in a beautiful, historic building. It’s a well known and well loved establishment in downtown Arlington Heights. Sure, there are rules (be leery of patron reviews who can’t stand to be chided for breaking legal rules!), but everyone needs to feel SAFE while having fun. I’ve seen too many great bars in downtown buildings get completely trashed by entitled people. I, my family and friends have been here many times and have never had a bad experience! Support and respect your local bars!“
