“I ate here twice. Cesar salad with grilled chicken was very good, a little heavy on the dressi g for my liking. I also had the chicken wings which were average, a little too crispy in my opinion, but celery was very fresh and was very good with the blue cheese. Second visit, I had the Italian Wedding soup. Soup was delicious and hot, perfectly paired with the buttery toast that just melted in my mouth with the soup broth and was perfect for dipping!! I also had the market salad with medium rare steak. Salad was big and steak was cook as requested. The soup with toast was definitely the highlight for me. Prices are on the high end, but I didn't leave hungry. Perfect spot when staying at the hotel and don't feel like going out.“

“One of my favorite neighborhood watering holes in Elmhurst. Ideally located on Spring Road just north of the prairie path, it's a perfect and low-key place to stop for a bite and beer or whisky. My dog loves this place and its servers even more than I do.“

Live music most weekends, outdoors in the summer in a large parking lot. Everybody who knows, goes there. John & Sparklyn are good people!“

This is one of the places that the Irish Mafia used to hang out in!!! A place where the murder mystery is alive and unsolved!!! You come to a place like this and you can feel the history, feel it in your soul!! You want to check this place out!!! Ask anyone here about the history and they will tell you straight out!! Are you in the mood for a drink??? Get it here!! Are you in the mood for a quick bite?? Well you can get it here too along with a nice fresh tap or bottle of what ever beer you like!!! “I’m new to the neighborhood and absolutely love the vibe of Boozehound. It’s exactly what you want - local, great menu, good prices and a dartboard in the back. Very unfortunately, however, there is a regular at this bar who told a member of my group that he hates gay people, and he hates black people (he used the N word to say this). We had both types of people in our group. I hesitate to reduce what would be a glowing review due to a customer, but I do not feel safe or interested in going somewhere where an attitude like this can be comfortably expressed.“

I enjoyed the jalapeno cheddar brat and my daughter loved the pretzel and the cheese filled polish sausage.Beer selection, though limited and bottle only, included some European beers which went well with the food.It's more of a gambling facility than a restaurant, but it was good for what it was.Service was excellent and prices were half off when we went so it was quite inexpensive which provided great value for what we got.“
