Consider this is in a food court in a shopping mall, the food is good. The noodle itself is probably from a cheap Ramen pack. I am still hoping the soup was not a solution of MSG, will find it out later.

I was really surprised to be able to enjoy such delicious ramen at the Fashion Outlets near Chicago Airport during my trip!

Umaka Ramen is a hidden gem, even in a food court setting. The restaurant offers good food at a slightly higher price point, but it's worth it. The staff is helpful and attentive. The menu features delicious noodles, including the Tonkotsu Ramen, which comes with generous portions of pork chashu and a plentiful supply of chili oil. The chicken ramen is also delicious, and the tantan noodles have a rich, tasty broth. The greens are fresh, the noodles are cooked well, and even the ramen egg is good. They use text messages to inform customers when the ramen is ready, which is convenient.
