“This was the best night out!! We went out with friends and shared multiple dishes (and so much wine.) The food was outstanding. The wine was so flavourful and we just kept ordering more. “We always know we’ll have a wonderful time at Tannins. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the service team is attentive and friendly, and the wine selection is exceptional. Their wine club is a fantastic value, offering great perks at a very reasonable price. Tannins is our go-to spot for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. Highly recommend!

“What an incredible experience. We thought a bubble party would be fun for the kids but I think the adults enjoyed it just as much. Anastasia is a true professional. This is really performance art as much as it is entertainment. The party was a couple weeks ago and I still hear about it from kids and their parents. We will look into this again for certain. Cannot recommend enough!“

“Such a nice wine shop! Went to the thanksgiving Wine tasting and it was 30 wines for $25 and a fantastic savory spread.

“My family threw a surprise bday party for me at Tuscan. It was wonderful! The food was fantastic and never ending! The bartenders made sure everyone’s drink needs were met. We rented the entire place…..great venue for a private event! I highly recommend it!“
“Wonderful wine shop and wine bar. I thought there was only patio seating, but there’s an entire back room full of tables. Great spot to enjoy a few glasses of wine and some small bites or bring a bottle home. Chatted with the owner for a bit and he was very friendly. Will for sure be making this a regular spot.“

“Try the "Soon to be famous" wines! They do NOT disappoint! Our Server and Service was phenomenal! Food, is .....so amazingly fresh, the options, the add ons, the small shareable bites. Every season the freshness makes you feel full with out feeling FULL. Artichoke and Hummus is so yum!!“

“This was our second time dining at Positano’s and it was just as fabulous! The food here is superb, the wait staff are very attentive and we love the photos on the wall! The Seabass was to die for and the grilled seafood appetizer was divine! Our only regret is that we live in New York and cannot be frequent patrons of this wonderful establishment! Mille Grazie!!“

“Only complaint was that the dining room was noisy, so that it made conversation difficult. Most likely the result of a large crowd, with a 20 to 40 minute wait.
Vegetarian options: Depends on how strict a vegetarian. It is authentic Greek cuisine, so there are many seafood options. Strict vegetarians will be limited to roasted vegetables and hummus dishes, but they will try their best to accommodate.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free dishes are labeled on the menu, but I don't think this is a totally gluten free kitchen with separate prep and cooking areas.
Parking: Large self parking lot that can overflow into other parking areas.
Kid-friendliness: Lots of families with children dine here. Many options on a children's menu.
Wheelchair accessibility: Large dining area with good access to move around, including the washrooms. Very little floor transitions (bumps or steps) unless one is going to back private dining rooms.“

“In a town known for great steak restaurants, EJs, is my favorite. Their steaks and seafood are outstanding, their sides and desserts wonderful, and their wine list never disappoints. Throw in a cozy atmosphere with wood paneling and the smell of the fireplace. The best part is the service. From the moment you arrive until you get back in your vehicle their service is unmatched with a staff of professionals who have been there for years. I highly recommend EJs and look forward to our next visit!“

“We have visited Cooper Hawks in Morton Grove several times, sometimes for drinks and appetizers and sometimes for dinner and drinks, we have never had a bad experience. Great food and drinks, but we have been able to experience the same waitress Lori P. She is the best great personality food and drinks fast…… she is totally awesome. Thank you Lori for making our experience at Morton Grove Cooper Hawks great! See you next week.“

“Pablo, our waiter, was exceptional. During our first visit here, he warmly welcomed us and showcased impressive knowledge of the menu, even extending to items not listed. He encouraged us to customize our meal to our liking, and he certainly delivered! For starters, we chose the grilled calamari and Rockefeller oysters. The calamari was tender and impeccably cooked, steering clear of the typical rubbery texture. Opting for balsamic instead of oil was a perfect choice. The oysters were superb, not overwhelmed with cheese. I ordered the veal picatta from the menu, expecting a thin slab, but was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size. The angel hair pasta complemented the dish well, although I could have done without the mushrooms – a personal preference, which I should've mentioned. Nonetheless, if you're a mushroom enthusiast, they give you plenty. My boyfriend ordered off-menu, enjoying the Zuppe di Pesce with shrimp, clams, extra calamari, and rigatoni Diablo style in red sauce. It was absolutely amazing and satisfied his taste without being overly spicy. To accompany the meal, I had a glass of the house Chardonnay, which was light and buttery. Even my boyfriend, who doesn't typically drink wine, enjoyed it. Our heartfelt thanks to Pablo and the owner/chef Giovanni for an outstanding dining experience, both in terms of the meal and the service.“

Tribute didn’t just feed me they seduced me. The BLT? Crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, juicy tomato, and toast so perfect it deserves its own fan club. Onion rings? Golden halos of happiness. Birria fries? A glorious, cheesy mess I’d gladly ruin a shirt for. Drinks? Smooth enough to make bad decisions taste good. Patio vibes? String lights, sunset skies, and the kind of energy that makes you “accidentally” stay for hours.

“A very pleasant “go-to” for a meal. Food is very good. Service is friendly but can be spotty depending. Location at Wilmette Golf Course is very nice with large windows overlooking golf course and outside seating. In the winter, the fireplace warms the view. Recommend.“

“It was a late night dinner and we were looking for someplace good and luckily Jameson's was still open. Coffee was good and we were very happy w the pork chops, chicken philly and chicken club sandwiches. That being said my salad lacked tomatoes and cucumbers. My chops were advertised to be center cut loin and I got one loin and one rib chop.“

“We were put in a very nice smallish dining room where we could easily hear each other. We all enjoyed our meals from turkey burgers to a salad to brussel sprouts and artichokes. Our waitress, Diana, was outstanding!!!! Super cute and friendly, efficient and we liked her bubbly personality so much we kept asking her to pull up a chair and join us! We will definitely come back but only when she's serving! Great meal and great service!!!!“
