“7/12/2025 Saturday - Had the same experience as stated, but place was maybe 1/4 full. Prices are reasonable. Had carne asada again and within 12 minutes received and cooked to perfection. I appreciate this place and the service they provide.”

“Everytime I've ordered from this location the order is accurate, tastes great, & fast & friendly service. I deliver for uber eats so I see a lot of restaurants over & over & notice grease marks & fingerprints all over many front doors, dirty counters, etc but not this location. Everything always looks clean, they have lots of hot food they keep making while selling so much, so theres always plenty. All the employees are always running around working hard, nobody is ever just standing! And they are all very friendly. Everybody seems to put in teamwork so everything runs efficiently. There is an amazing crew here & with that being said they must have one awesome manager! I cant say enough good about you guys! Way to go & keep up the good work!! -Rachel-❤️”

“Best tasting Filipino Store in Round Lake Beach. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The food is sooooooo tasty like “lutong bahay” (home made). Ample amount of serving. To start with, you have to try their egg rolls, pancit canton, special caldereta, pork igado, chicken curry, dinuguan, laing, crispy lechon kawali, sapin-sapin and cassava cake. The cook and staff are very friendly and helpful. 😋😋😋😋😋 The other cashier needs to show his cute smile more often though. 😁🤣😆 Great selection of hard to find Filipino food in the grocery section.”

“The employees here work hard and always have my online orders on time. Only ever had one issue where I wanted extra banana peppers and got a total of 4 of them, other than that the kids working here deserve raises. They are always courteous and respectful every time I stop here which is a ton.”

“Slighly higher prices than the places we usually visit (Hansen's in Wilmot and Rusty Malts in Ringwood) We live in Fox Lake so Round Lake is a little closer than our usual stop for ice cream with the grandkids. That said, the grandkids loved La Michoacana! Incredibly colorful with a seemingly endless variety. The Ice cream was delicious and the service was wonderful! I highly recommend them if you're in the Round Lake area.”

“Highly recommend Lovin Oven Cakery for custom wedding cakes! Was recommended by my cousin and didn’t disappoint. I really wanted a 2 tier wedding cake for 30 people and they were able to make the order over the phone with exactly the designs and flavor I wanted. It was so soft and delicious, not too sweet.”

“One the of freshest and sweetest breads, cakes and conchas. On Sunday they also have Carnitas, tamales and Menudo. But you got to go early otherwise they run out and the better luck next weekend.”

Came here for a dinner on a Monday night. It wasn't busy and we got seated right way. The waitress gave us complimentary chips and salsa and a cup of soup. The soup hit just right on a rainy night.

The waitress gave us 2 alternative less spicy salsas without us even asking! We ordered the lengua (beef tongue) burrito and the lengua gordito dinner.

It was so good. The lengua was so tender and flavorful. It's so hard to find good lengua like this in the Chicagoland area. Everything cost us less than $25.
