The crab rangoons are amazing, I wish they were bigger because the flavor was amazing! Everyone was so nice here. The lovely older staff helped us out by lending us a lighter to light my friends birthday candles and then the lovely older lady took our photos. Overall, great vibes! Will be back.”

“We had a great experience! Walking in, the cleanliness was something I noticed. I must say, they did a great job with the cleanliness of the place! I also liked the design of the store! The staff were also kind and helpful. We ordered a half dozen donuts, a medium iced coffee, and a Wake-Up Wrap. The donuts were overall great! It's an average but great donut. The coffee was great too! We ordered a medium iced coffee with cream and a caramel swirl, and the coffee was made right to the order! It's a dependable and great coffee. And for the Wake-Up, they're still good, but I wouldn't put them above other breakfast items from places. However, the addition of wireless charging pads on the tablet was a very nice touch! The design is the average modern Dunkin', it's modern, clean, and colorful. Overall, if you're looking for a great chain breakfast place in the area, I recommend this place!”

CM Chicken in Vernon Hills delivers excellent Korean cuisine with a prime location and a great environment. The food comes out fresh and flavorful, and the boba tea is surprisingly good, making it a perfect pairing with their crispy chicken.

The only downside is that the bill arrives a bit too quickly, making the experience feel slightly rushed at the end. Still, the overall quality and vibe make it a solid spot !”

“I took my boys here on a Saturday at around 4:30 after a trip to the Volo museum. We were immediately greeted by a friendly, knowledgeable and attentive waitress. The appetizer plate had the best onion rings and these creamy smoky bacon Gouda Mac n cheese bites that were to die for! Pan pizza came out as a deep dish and my teenager loved it. My oldest and I got the rib and broasted chicken combo…. OMG No regrets! The chicken was seasoned well with a delicious, crispy, light breading and the ribs were fall off the bone scrumptious with a perfect smoky/sweet bbq sauce. Do NOT skip the peach cobbler!! The warm, crispy peaches and streusel topping tasted like it was made with love. What a great place and we absolutely love our server. She was engaging and knew the menu. Will definitely return!”

“Hidden in plain sight in Lake Villa, this Italian restaurant is the kind of unassuming neighborhood gem critics quietly root for. It isn’t flashy, it isn’t loud, and it doesn’t pretend to be anything other than what it is: a place that consistently serves excellent food at fair prices. In the Lakes region—where Italian options can feel uneven—this spot rises confidently to the top. On my most recent visit, I was seated immediately at a corner table, a small but meaningful luxury in an age of hour-long waits. The dining room, typically hushed enough for actual conversation, again delivered one of its underrated pleasures: a peaceful meal without the intrusive din that plagues so many suburban restaurants. Service followed suit—friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to help, never hovering or rushing. The kitchen remains the star. My spaghetti with vodka sauce was outstanding—rich, balanced, and among the best renditions I’ve had anywhere in the region. Other entrées at the table echoed the same strengths: sauces with clarity and depth, pastas cooked with confident restraint, portions generous without tipping into excess. Cocktails, too, arrived promptly and properly mixed, further reinforcing the sense of a kitchen-and-bar team that takes pride in their craft. If there is a shortfall, it lies in the ambiance. The room carries a certain charm, but the décor feels a step behind the quality of the food. A refresh of tables, finishes, and overall presentation would elevate the experience from very good to genuinely special. The warmth is there—the aesthetics simply haven’t caught up yet. Even so, the value proposition is undeniable. For reliably excellent Italian cuisine, low noise, easy seating, earnest service, and honest pricing, this restaurant more than earns its “highly recommended” status. It is, in every meaningful way, Lake Villa’s little culinary treasure.”

It is a small place filled with all the sights and sounds of an authentic city deli tucked away at the end of a large shopping center in Libertyville. “Omg! Let’s just start with the service. They were helpful, quick, efficient. We had a large order but they sure delivered. From the friendly welcome, helpful hands getting the order to the car, to the FULL bellies and amazing food! This place did not disappoint. The wings, the fries, the Philly! All of it was amazing.”

“Where do I even begin? The pita? Perfect texture and taste. The cherry tomatoes? Obviously fresh, juicy, and sourced from a great farm. The romain? Plentiful and CRISP. The Dill and Taziki sauce? Also VERY fresh, has a citrus kick somewhere, and seems to be made fresh as well. Because it doesn't taste like a store bought sauce filled with preservatives. The hummus? That might actually be where the citrus is from. However, the hummus is not overly salty! You can actually taste the Chickpeas and they use good ingredients as well as olive oil for the hummus too! The chicken? Is in NO way shape or form dry and it's actually seasoned! It's juicy and normal is it overcooked. The olives? Brothers and sisters I HATE olives by themselves, rarely on certain foods. But these olives are not overpowering and stealing the flavor profile, it just adds more depth to the flavor bomb of the Greek chicken Pita! The feta? What could be bettah? Seriously though if you can see this picture you should've seen that they don't skip on the feta either. Again the flavor is ALL the way there but not overpowering. While the texture is almost creamy. Probably with assistance from the sauce but still, it's not overly dry! 10/10 Would recommend & I will be back! Now the facility was spotless, the cleanest "fast food" I've ever seen. The staff? Phenomenonal, personable, kind, attentive to details, and downright superstars that make that place run like clockwork! Wooooo wo weeeee wo!!! If you haven't been here then you've got to go!! Moderate prices, exceptional ingredients, lovely staff, and clean facilities(where the staff actually care like the NW Expressway location in OKC). I'm out, ty for listening to my Ted talk! 🫡”

We eat Korean food often and in many different cities. This place was pretty legit. Great authentic flavors.
The bugolgi was delicious, the dumplings were good and the Japchae (chapchae) was amazing.
Honestly the cost is great as a lot of Korean BBQ places overcharge but not here.
Highly recommend it.”

This family has been serving the community for 45 years. Felisha was our server. She was kind and friendly, provided excellent service, miraculously she remembered everyone's name at our table, lol, and even had a few good jokes up her sleeve. Thank you for the great service, Felisha! My compliments to the chef for cooking my poached eggs perfectly just the way I ordered them. And the hash potatoes were honestly some of the best I've had. 5 STARS across the board.”
