“We held a family funeral lunch at Lino’s. The staff was welcoming, attentive and very friendly as they took care of our party, which filled their banquet room. We had a couple of chicken dishes, a couple of vegetable dishes, a garden salad, potatoes, and cannoli for dessert. Our guests raved about the food, which was delicious and hot! We could not be more enthusiastic in our recommendation of Lino‘s!“

“We love Rosati's of Lakemoor! Their thin crust pizza is delicious, they have great wings, and their salads are large and fresh....all the food we've ordered is really consistent. We especially love their pizza sausage—true Chicago style! We usually don't eat inside the restaurant, but the carry out service and delivery service is always on time. “Sweet Melissa’s seems like a a neighborhood pizza pub. They have outdoor seating. They have what seems like video gaming machines. They offer some specials during the week. The spinach artichoke dip was very good.it was served with warm pita chips. It was creamy and very tasty. The bruschetta was good the only thing I did not like about was the bread toasted. It said it was served on crisp Italian bread but our bread was anything but crisp. It was basically fresh bread top with all the toppings. The toppings were very good but it lack that crunchy bite you normally get. My friend order a large margarita. And we ordered a loaded margarita with extra pepperoni instead of the bacon. I was surprised to see how thin the crust was. It’s almost like a cracker crust. Also surprised to see a margarita. without fresh mozzarella. Except for the very thin crust the toppings on pizza was plentifully. We also ordered a piece of tiramisu since it was my friend’s birthday. The slice was delicious. The three of us actually split the slice since we were too full to have a slice for ourselves. I guess if you like your pizza crust thin this is the place for you. I would come back again to try their other foods. Their menu looks exciting enough to come back.“

“We hosted an end of the season tackle football banquet for 50 people in the party room at JJ Twig’s in Wauconda tonight. Tiffany was a dream to work with — super responsive, accommodating, and had great insight into just how much food to order. The party room was the perfect private venue that allowed our rambunctious group of 10 year old boys some space to roam without disturbing other diners. Food was good — we ordered pizzas, baked mostaccioli, meatballs, chicken tenders and salad. Compared to other local venues we considered, JJ Twig’s is a real value. Along with the good food and great service, JJ Twig’s is the full package!“

“So much fun here. The pool table is only available during the winter, but outside there is a huge bar with lots of friendly people. We played bags with a couple guys who live near there and we had a blast! The bill wasn't big either. $20 for four large Modelos on tap, plus they have a bunch of other IPA's and goodies!“

“Pizza snob here. I have been a pizza fiend since TMNT in the 80s. It’s not easy to move into my top 5 favorite pizza places and Nancy has moved to my number one favorite pizza!
We get their deep dish with cheese. Yum!! Everything is on point! The sauce has the perfect amount of sweetness and is not too bold. It’s just right. The blend of cheeses they use is perfect.
Now I feel many deep dishes struggle to have a good crust. Sometimes places make it too thick or too crunchy or too dry, and eating the cornicione becomes a chore. But this isn’t the case with Nancy’s.
The pizza is pricey, but check those coupons that come in the mail. Usually there is a coupon for a certain percentage off on Monday and Tuesday .“

“Came here after a long day of walking at the nearby amusement park. Place was not very crowded and we were able to order immediately and sit down. I ordered a mod pizza with several custom toppings. Pizza came out relatively fast, about 15 minutes, and were very warm. Pizza came out delicious and perfectly cooked. Pizza definitely filled me up fully. “We live 2.5 hours south of Lake Villa, but we were meeting some friends from Florida for dinner. They were in the area for their grandson’s graduation from Great Lakes Naval Academy. Found this place via Google and it had great reviews, with good reason. We wish we lived closer because it would be a favorite for sure. When u come to this location it gives a family type of feel, they are willing to make any pizza combination that you want! My personal favorite is the rolled stuffed crust.
