“Ten years ago began my obsession with Frank’s corn nuggets. In high school, every time I had a dollar to spend, I’d head to Frank’s for an order of corn nuggets. Any time anyone asks me what my favorite food is, for the past ten years it has been Frank’s corn nuggets. Today, for the first time ever, I ordered corn nuggets and they were sold out! I told the owner about my long-held love of these fried treats and how I now live in Wisconsin but often travel to Mundelein specifically to have them. He says he has been trying to get the product in but unfortunately couldn’t get his hands on them lately. I sighed, and ordered a corn dog (closest corn substitute on the menu), onion rings, and sweet potato fries. All were great! At the end of my meal the owner surprises me with a small order of corn nuggets he had searched his supply for after I told him my story. Just great people and great times at Frank’s for the Memories as always! Frank’s holds a space in my heart forever and always and while they don’t have the corn nuggets today I will continue to return for the care and welcoming feel they always provide.

“I've been going to the Triangle Restaurant since I was a little child, for as big as the menu is I've yet to come across something I didn't like the price for items is fair. The staffing and service is always great and they make you feel welcome.“

The delivery person outside tried to give me at least 3 different orders that weren’t ours, and when we got home the chicken nuggets were missing the sauce, and the chili was missing the toppings and sour cream. We’ve been lucky to have him multiple times, and he’s consistently attentive, friendly, and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. “I've been here three times in the past year and have been wowed each time. The employees are always nice and accommodating. The food is perfect each time, the bathrooms and restaurant itself are very clean, and the space is welcoming! That's saying a lot from someone who worked in a lot of restaurants over the years and can easily spot issues. Bagels are chewy, thaw nicely after being in my freezer for a bit, and make excellent sandwiches. Thank you for the Windex and cleaning up my water bottle catastrophe ;)“

“so ordered combination teriyaki and garlic parmesan wings and an order of macaroni and cheese, the teriyaki wings were fairly saucy and reasonably tasty move on to the garlic parmesan wings which had zero sauce however they did have Parmesan on them. according to the manager they didn't have any sauce on it so they parmesan them up. now let's move on to the macaroni and cheese I've had macaroni and cheese out of the box from Aldi that had thicker cheese sauce. so I questioned the manager about this his exacting answer to me was we buy our ingredients for that at Walmart. so you buy your ingredients from Walmart when you're a restaurant so that's not actually acceptable and the lake county health department standards for a restaurant. you could literally pour the cheese sauce out of the cup so I question the manager on both of these and he's the one that told me this and didn't seem to give any care about our dinner... so I'm just leaving this up for everybody else they don't seem to care. didn't offer to make anything right and well they will never get our money again. if you want some macaroni and cheese Heck just go to Walmart and buy some you might get the better quality than they make.“

“Regardless of which location you go to whether some if not all locations are owned by the same person/family, you can never go wrong with Sammie's.

Whether it's a Chicago-style dog, Italian beef sandwich, gyros, burger ( Samburger) or Maxwell St. Polish sausage, fries; Sammie's knows how to do it and they do Chicago-style grub extremely well.

First time ever trying this particular location was this past April and was definitely well worth the price. Chicago-style food is a way of life and a culture that should be practiced if living in the Chicago area.

Clean dining room with friendly service and delicious bites at still reasonable prices make this venue another hot spot for awesome Chicago fare. I wish for many years of continued boomin' business for the owner(s).“
