The drinks are consistently amazing, made perfectly every time, and you can tell they really care about quality. I’ve never had a bad experience here, and it’s easily become one of my favorite spots. “I usually don't to the savanna subay for breakfast...always later in the day.. Today I went 1/3 ...the help was amazing ..the guy that waited on me was very friendly and efficient... The manager came out and was so so friendly... The sandwich was fresh and the eggs were great...never had a bad meal at the savanna Illinois subway...highly recommend it...”

“Almont Tap is the definition of a hidden gem tucked away off Hwy 67 between Sabula, Iowa and Clinton Iowa. I discovered this place while mapping out my route for my veterans ride I do saw it on my way through. Was very intrigued so when we did our test run on the motorcycles for my ride the weekend before some of my blockers and group knew about this place already said we will for sure stop there for lunch after running our practice run. So glad we did one of the best burgers I have ever had.

The lady that owns is an absolute sweetheart and runs it on her own. She is one hell of a cook, a really nice lady that loves to talk to her customers to make sure they feel comfortable and loved. Wow and the food is absolutely superb, some of the best bar food I've had. Definitely a destination for a motorcycle ride to have some good food, a cold beverage and some great conversation. An absolute gem do not sleep on this place being all out by itself totally worth it. Highly recommend and will be back for sure”

“We were up in the Savanna area taking in some fall colors, and I wanted to find a quaint diner for our lunch. This place was exactly what we were looking for. I had the shrimp basket, which was quite generous in terms of portion size. She had a breakfast platter which was equally abundant. We both enjoyed the food and were so happy to not have another bland fast-food dining experience. Sabula is such a unique setting, being on an island in the middle of the Mississippi River. The Island City Cafe made our visit to that area a bit more memorable.”
