We had a large group and they did a great job of keeping everyone happy. We ate, drank, and did a lot of talking. It was a Friday night and we almost had the place to ourselves. The food was terrific, service was very good, and it was quiet enough that we were able to talk from one end of the table to the other. They had cherry cobbler that was fantastic with ice cream on top. They had patio seating with a nice view from the 2nd floor.
Marie was our server and she was awful. We tried to order white wine when got there and was told they didn't have it. Then she messed up our order and tried to blame the new guy. I didn't appreciate her bad mouthing an employee. She also wouldn't let us split the bill. She was unprofessional and not a good representation of public house.
The coke I drank was flat, the burger was overcooked, the ketchup bottles were strange, and my server was nowhere to be found after I finished my meal. But the space itself is nice.
