“The food is delicious here and the people who work here are even better. I was eating in yesterday and there was a man who came inside who I believe was asking for work- he was washing windows. The owner or manager said they have a company that does it. So he could not give him the business. The man appeared to be a little unkept and possibly struggling. The owner asked if he was hungry and the man replied yes, he ended up making him fresh food and he left with a bag of food and some water. This interaction was so special and I truly hope their kindness is delivered back to them indefinitely. Please support this local business and kind individuals who make our world a better, softer, kinder place to be in! EAT HERE!“

“Had an amazing experience at Jarasa Kabob! The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The kabobs were perfectly grilled, juicy, and well-seasoned, and the portions were generous for the price.

“We tried the Arabic style shawarma wraps and the beef shawarma wraps at Bab Al Salam. Both were tasty, and the beef shawarma with tahini was especially flavorful and satisfying. The meat was well seasoned, and the tahini added a really nice creamy touch. Overall, one of the best shawarma spots spots in illinois“

“Store front restaurant in a strip mall is find! Plenty of parking. Half a dozen tables for dining. While we were there, they had a steady stream of take out orders. Their is a nick-nack with a flag of Jordan, maybe the influence is coming from. Their Gyros is not the typical style in the USA, all the same ingredients firmly wrapped in their flat bread rather than a pita. Baba Ghanouj is one of my favorite dishes from middle eastern cuisine, EZ Shawarma does an excellent version. Also impressed by their Lamb Chops at $24, serverd on Basmati yellow rice with grilled vegetables. We also had chicken Shawarma entrée also served on Basmati yellow rice with grilled vegetables. We finished off with Baklava.“

“This place *never* lets us down. The food is delicious, fresh and just so tasty. Their hummus is the BEST- they add some delicious garnishes on it. Best hummus I’ve ever had. Just too good and reliable. My kids love it too which is great.“

“I love the Beef Swarma Entree when you substitute Hummus for the rice. The Cucumber and Tomato salad which comes with it is also excellent. You also get a piece of Pita Bread with the Entree. Also try their Baklava variety pack. Really great selection of different types of Baklava.“

“What a fantastic dinner. They walked around giving you cardamom coffee. Delicious and hummus plate with babaganous. So creamy and flavorful. Also they started you with eggplant dip and pickled vegetables with pita chips flavored with zatar. We ordered the potatoe garlic dip. Yes, that garlic burned my mouth but that's what's it's supposed to do. If you don't like garlic order something else. We split the kabobs platter. 2 different rices. We had lamb, chicken and sausage. All the food tasted fresh and succulent. I forgot pictures this time.. but we will definitely be back with a bigger group to try more. Ohhh I forgot their pita!! Best I've ever had. Fantastic service too. Please forgive all my spelling!!“

I want to give Taboun Grill 5 Stars – But, I would be telling the truth and that just isn’t right for this Tzadik/Mensch. We enjoyed our meal and particularly enjoyed the appetizers. My Goyish friend – who considers himself Israeli commented that the Hummus was watery. I have to agree with him! ;-) – Service – from our Wonderful/Beautiful Romanian Waitress was on point; - Our water was always kept topped off and the Kitchen ran efficiently and expeditiously to deliver the food to the tables in a timely fashion; - Restaurant was busy – not mobbed; - which is a good thing. Interesting take on the Laffa – I enjoyed my meal and left with a full belly. Highlight of the Restaurant was the incredibly Judaica artwork that adorns the walls. I hope they are selling these pieces – because they were gorgeous – just lovely. You definitely felt like you were in an Israeli/Middle Eastern Restaurant – Tables were comfortable and you didn’t feel crammed inside – like you would at Grill Point; But – this wasn’t Grill Point (Kew Garden Hills, Queens) – Lots of Yentahs and Mitzvah boys. Enjoyed it and would definitely recommend. Enjoyable meal with great food! Price was reasonable for a Kosher Restaurant.“

“Great spot for a quick lunch with good quality Middle Eastern food. You can do a pita, bowl or a plate with a steak, chicken shawarma and falafel on top of rice and some assorted veggies. Delicious mix that goes down really nice. Sauces make it even more delicious. This is a better and a healthier alternative to some of the well-known fast food restaurant chains. The interior is pretty simple, not too overwhelming. Plenty of parking space.“

“I had my son’s birthday party at Tandoori this weekend. It was the best choice to host my 45 guests at this restaurant. I ll tell you why.

1. I had decided to do the decor myself. The manager, Sahir was really, really kind to let me come a day before to put up all the decor stuff. He was very cooperative, and the staff present around was nice too. I was very conscious, given it was my son’s first bday, and my first time ever to do decor. But it turned out so good, and i must give credit to the manager who made it easier for me. I could never do it the same day the party was.
2. Our server, Rania, she did an amazing job. She helped with deciding the menu, she served everything in a perfect manner, time wise, arrangement wise. She was super easy to talk to. She helped with the cake as well. Rania, thank you.
3. Food… second to none. We had butter chicken, and mix platters. Everything was so so so delicious. Cooked to perfection. Our guests loved the food. From salad and hummus to bbq and gravy, everything was super yummy.

The restaurant made my son’s event memorable for life. I can’t thank them enough.“
