“From the STL area, camping in Shelbyville for the weekend. Checking out the local wineries. The Niemerg Family Winery is a small country town winery open only on the weekends. From the moment we walked in, Bill, one of the owners, made it feel warm and welcoming! There is definitely a “Cheers” type atmosphere, which I have never seen in a winery type setting. They offer a wide variety of craft beers, and of course very good wine and wine slushies. Would definitely recommend a stop for what they have to offer!“

“We eat here when we take the kids swimming at the pool. We would actually drive here just to eat also, we live 50mns away. The food is FIRE! Service is great! And the best part, cheap food! As a family of 5, it's hard to go eat for under $100 these days, here you can easily!! Their queso fundido is THE BEST!!“
