“This brewery has some great brews. I did a flight & had a hard time figuring out which one to have a pint of! I went with Peach & Vanilla Ale. The Kolsch was really good & flavorful. The brewery itself was airy & comfortable feeling plus could accommodate a few people.“

“I recommend everything on the menu. Baldarotta’s is incredible. I’m Italian myself and I’ve never had any Italian food more authentic than here. I’m also a relatively picky eater and I know with certainty that I could literally order anything on the menu and be shouting its deliciousness. And it’s even delicious as carry out or as leftovers when no longer technically “fresh.” A must try and you’ll absolutely return. We come from 40 minutes away solely to dine here.“

“Top notch service stands out in this Champaign establishment. We had drinks minutes after we were seated, orders were taken shortly after and the food was brought out in record time which, for BBQ, makes sense. They were also quick to refill all drinks without being asked to. The food was excellent, slow cooked brisket and pork and their selection of sauces was extensive. Ethos restaurant was a recommendation from a friend and I can see why. If we lived in the area, I could see coming here regularly.“

I tried thier beef fried rice on a quest to find my favorite Chinese restaurant and now I crave thier food (something about the taste is unique and I can seem to place my finger on it or find that anywhere else) every once in a while. “Bunny’s Tavern never disappoints. We often visit before seeing shows at the Station Theatre, and get drinks after. The food and drinks were great as always, and the atmosphere makes it easy to settle in and stay longer than you planned…which we definitely did tonight, hanging out and playing the slots right up until close. What really stood out, though, was a moment of genuine kindness from the staff. Just before closing, a very elderly gentleman came in wearing his Illini gear, bright-eyed and bushy tailed, clearly thinking it was morning or game time, even though the game had long since ended. He sat down and asked for a cup of coffee, and the bartenders greeted him by name. When they gently told him it was nearly midnight and they didn’t have any coffee brewed. He was completely surprised. “You gotta be kidding me!!” One of the bartenders sat with him, spoke kindly and calmly, and then said she’d walk him home and help reset the clock in his apartment again. After what was clearly a long shift, seeing that level of patience and compassion was honestly beautiful. Great food, great drinks, and truly good people behind the bar. That kind of grace says everything about a place. I’ll be back, and I’ll be recommending it.“

“He is just a one man show, so its impressive what he can do. The food feels not like fast food in that its addictive or amazing but rather it feels homemade and fresh (because he's literally cooking it right there in front of you). It feels less like I've gone out to eat and more like I sat down for my uncle to cook me something wholesome. The portion is generous and fit for two meals, especially since the incredibly diverse/loaded salad and the free fruit he gave fills you up. This is my first time and it won't be my last (the hours are my main issue but knowing its just him working I can't blame him).“

“This little place has the country wooden exterior to match the part of town it's in, but inside is a comfortable and rich thai dining experience. They have a little couch available for waiting but nobody we saw come in had to wait - doordash or dine in guests. The dining room is small but well decorated with comfortable booths and cute lights hanging from the slanted ceiling. The most impressive thing about Bangkok Thai to me was the one woman show who ran the dining room and restaurant with care and efficiency. Whoever she has helping her in the kitchen is obviously a good match, as our food came out quickly and delicious. My big complaint is that for the spice level 1-5 they just dumped chili powder on top of my curry, and the curry with tofu had bell peppers but no other veggies, and the patio doesn't have heating setup but maybe it's still early in the season“

“Shout out to the Intermezzo Cafe staff at Krannert Center on campus today. Wonderful customer service and delicious food. Today's lunch special was a BLT and side of your choice. After a brief hesitation (I love BLTs!), I opted to order the chicken salad wrap and fruit cup. Delicious! They offer a decent variety of breakfast and lunch options with quick and friendly service. Highly recommend if you have not tried them.“

“What a unique dining experience! This Chinese restaurant in Champaign,IL operates on a self-service model that keeps costs down—they don’t charge tips, only a very small cleanup fee.
When you walk in, you grab a menu, notepad, and pen, find your own table, write down the menu item numbers you want, then bring your order to the cashier and pay. They accept both cash and credit cards with no extra fee for card payments.
The menu selection is enormous—probably one of the largest Chinese restaurant menus I’ve ever seen. There are so many options that everyone should be able to find something they like.
Guests also help themselves to tea, drinks, utensils, napkins, and teapots, which makes the whole process simple and efficient. Despite the extensive menu, the food arrived surprisingly fast.
Another plus is the ample parking, making it easy to visit even during busy times.

“Order from Door Dash, food was still nice and warm even on a -3 degree day! Mac N Cheese was super tasty. Chicken fingers a bit spicey for my taste but good. Chicken Gravy had LOTS of Black Pepper (too much for my liking). Sould tame it down on the Black Pepper on the Chicken and Gravy as those condiments can be added for each persons taste.“

“I’m very pleased and impressed with China King! From the service, to the food, and everything else. The lady who ran the front end is very sweet and friendly. I felt comfortable when I walked in, and she also helped me navigate the menu. Food came out in just over 5min. I got the chicken and broccoli lunch special with white rice and a crab rangoon. This was just over $10, which is a nice deal. The food was hot, fresh, and tasted excellent. The flavors were plentiful, and the portion was more than fair. I ended up taking some home. I highly recommend, and, I’ve said this about other Chinese restaurants in the area, but I truly think that this is one of, if not the best Chinese cuisine in the C-U area. Definitely will be back.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nando Milano in Champaign was an absolute dream to work with for our rehearsal dinner! From the very start, Nando was incredible—timely, professional, and so easy to communicate with. They worked closely with us to curate a perfect menu of appetizers, salads, pastas, meat entrées, and desserts that fit both our taste and our party size. The food was absolutely incredible—our friends and family raved all night! The family-style service made the evening feel warm, personal, and exactly how a rehearsal dinner should feel as we brought two families together. The service was fantastic, and everyone we worked with was so kind and accommodating. I was able to drop off menus, place cards, and signage beforehand, and they gladly set everything up, making the tables look beautiful. I honestly wish I had photos of all the stunning food and the gorgeous table setup, but our guests (and myself!) were having such a wonderful time that no one was on their phones during dinner—a true sign that we were fully enjoying the moment. Even when we had to switch from our original outdoor seating plan to indoors, they seamlessly accommodated us without any stress. If you’re looking for a restaurant space that offers true elegance, phenomenal service, and unforgettable food for any special occasion—rehearsals, graduations, birthdays—you can’t go wrong with Nando Milano.
