La Mixteca Restaurant offers a welcoming atmosphere with friendly service. The food is fresh and delicious, with generous portion sizes. Diners recommend the fajitas, which come sizzling with tender, seasoned chicken and all the fixings, as well as the steak, chicken and shrimp fajita dinner. The free chips and salsa are great, with homemade chips that are fresh and delicious. A standout dish is the Cochanita Pibil, a slow roasted pork dish. Guests should specify whether they want jalapeños or habaneros, as the habaneros are very hot. The "Pollo Feliz" was satisfying and stuffed, though the salad was soggy and mixed with the beans.
