“I had been aware of Rico's since they opened but never had the opportunity to try one of their Pizzas. Now that I have, all I can say is, EXCELLENT PIZZA! Probably the best in the Springfield area! This is Pizza made by people that CARE about the Pizza they serve to you, and if that means anything to you, there will be no disappointment. If you love great Pizza, do yourself a favor and try one.“

“I recently visited Sappori Pizzeria in Springfield, and I must say, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I had the Italian beef sandwich, and it was magnificent. The bread upheld its integrity even after being dipped in the rich, flavorful au jus, and the beef was tender and seasoned perfectly. The giardiniera added a nice spicy kick that complemented the sandwich beautifully.

For dessert, I had a lemon tart that was delicious, though I would have liked it to be a bit more tart for a citrus dessert. However, it was still a great choice. I also tried the Italian cream cake, which was simply amazing—thanks to Noah’s recommendation.

Speaking of Noah, he was a shining example of excellent service. He was kind, welcoming, and always had a warm smile on his face. His attentiveness and genuine appreciation for the customers really stood out, making him a key reason I’ll be returning, aside from the fantastic food.

I also took some time to check out the market side and picked up a bottle of Carfagna’s vodka sauce, which I’ve heard great things about. Overall, Sappori delivered an amazing dining experience, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

“We started with the salad and homemade bread. There is no place around where I have had such flavorful bread! The salad had vinegar and olive oil, a combination that was perfectly savory with the bright crisp lettuce. For my entree I had stuffed shells and my husband had made to order Stromboli. We enjoyed every bite with a portion enough for lunch tomorrow. The owners are absolutely delightful! The drive to Riverton is well worth it!“

Found Papi’s on DoorDash, so many different pizzas it was hard to choose! Ordered the Tropical and a Taco and a cheese bread for me. The Papi’s sauce is AMAZING and the combo of the tropical was unbelievably delicious! Even their ale son a taco was the best taco pizza ever! “A very cozy place with an ordering counter and a sit-down dining room if you're sticking around. Despite the counter service, the staff was lovely, welcoming, and attentive. They brought fresh bread to the table, unfortunately with a small to-go cup with a small drizzle of olive oil and another of pre-grated parm. A slightly more generous cup of olive oil would have been nice. The carbonara pasta would have been good off the bat if they had properly seasoned it, but some of the extra parm and a generous dose of black pepper got it there in the end. The pizza was the star of the night. Chewy dough with really good gluten development, very nice sauce that was balanced and a nice contrast to the cheese, and quality toppings that weren't too much or too little. Was very tempted by the cannoli in the case, but I will leave it to others to try as I was stuffed. Could be a great place but needs to tighten it up a bit. Would try again though if just for pizza and to try that cannoli.“

“this review is going to the GM Ryan at the south Dirksen store, i ordered two large pizzas tonight and i finally called about them being 35 mins late from said delivery time. He was very patient and courteous and explained to me that they was having a little trouble with the Grubhub deliveries. He went above and beyond explaining the situation. when we called the first time about it being late we were told the pizza was already in the car . A full 20 mins after that call we got a call from the grubhub driver asking if we could send them a satellite picture of our house because they could not find it. our house is only 5 mins from the Dirksen store. the grubhub driver should not have waited a full half hour to call about not being able to find us. it is in no way Ryan or the employees at godfathers fault that this happened. i want to thank Godfathers for hiring such a professional as Ruan to lead their store. it is because of Ryan that my family and I will continue to call and order the most awesome pizza in Springfield. please make sure this review gets to the owner Mike and the other owner as i will be checkimg in with Ryan to make sure he got this review of his great patience and service. we can not wait to order from ur store again as the food is awesome and Ryan's service was again above and beyond. thanks for the awesome food that you serve and the people you choose to lead ur team. we will make sure to keep recommending Godfathers to our family and friends as the number 1 pizza place to order from in Springfield. thank you sincerely the sanges family.“

“I've ate at several pizza buffets around the USA. I would rate this one second to the original Pizza Inn located in Brazil indiana but since that one closed in 2007 I have to

You just walk up, grab whatever items you'd like out of the warmer cabinets & checkout at the truck stop cashier. We got some fountain drinks & sat inside Taco John's to eat. The pizza is killer, and you should definitely try the fried pepperoni as a topping or an appetizer. You won't be disappointed.

“I have very fond memories of Joe's over the years - even driving by brings a smile to my face. So the nostalgia coupled with the amazing pizza brings it to 5 stars for me. The service is hit-or-miss depending on who helps you but its really never been the friendliest place to order from. My most recent order was hot & ready in the 45 minutes quoted and the young man who brought the order out was very nice. While they make a solid pizza with good crust and a sweeter sauce, don't pass over the lasagna - it is delicious!“

“The space is run down. The ice machine is always having issues not working. Who wants fountain drink w no ice. One of the women's sinks in restrooms isn't working. Restrooms are not clean. However, when I checked my bank statement I seen the waitress tacked on an extra $4 tip for herself After we left her a $20 tip in cash on a $65.69 tab.
