“We moved to the Quad cities recently and couldn't really find a Chinese restaurant that satisfied or cravings until we came here! The egg rolls and low mein here rival some of my top all-time favorites. The General Tso's and Sesame chicken were excellent. The steam dumplings were good, particularly with the sauce it's served with. I docked one service star because we weren't offered any sauce and I didn't think to ask for sweet-and-sour sauce for the egg rolls since they usually come with it based on my experience from other restaurants. I look forward to trying out some of my other favorites like Szechuan chicken and Mongolian beef in future visits!“

And in my humble opinion, you should always strive and there's always room for improvement! They nailed the atmosphere tho! Not the run of the mill antique overload restaurant but very nicely blending industrial modern decor keeping it simple but classy. Very Midwest!“

Got the farmers omelet and pancakes in place of the toast ... Look at those pancakes ... Light, fluffy, and the syrup was even warm .... The omelet was equally good ... “I cannot recommend Exotic Thai enough... especially for their DELICIOUS red curry (I get mine with chicken), friendly staff, and beautiful setting. Their red curry is comfort food in a bowl, with their M-F lunch special being a perfect portion including soup & salad. Give it a try!“

“Just had a wonderful dinner at Tuggers. My husband had the meatloaf, and I had the rice bowl with seared tuna…fabulous and plenty to bring some home for lunch tomorrow. The vanilla crème brûlée old fashioned and warm apple dumpling cocktails were delicious. Our son had a burger and fries and had room for the fried cookie dough, or thought he did. He revived 3 large pieces along with a glass of milk (nice touch!). The service was fantastic, and our meal arrived quickly. Would highly recommend!“

“We found this place while driving through from Fort Collins to Chicago and were so happy with our decision to stop. “My friend and I came out to enjoy a nice evening in the Village and decided to stop by Brew for a bite. We were greeted by a young lady named Kaitlin, who took care of us from start to finish. She was friendly, sharp, and just the right amount of sassy to keep things fun.

She handled our table (and what looked like half the restaurant) with ease — quick, attentive, and on point the whole time. The other staff seemed solid too, but Kaitlin really stood out. She made the experience.

“Yesterday, Thanksgiving 2025, we experienced the Riverfront Grille for the first time. The staff were happy to see us, friendly and very attentive. Second, the food was outstanding. Turkey and ham were done to perfection, a variety of salads, soups and sides were homemade and delicious. Lastly, the overall experience (including desert) on a busy day was wonderful. We are so glad we did. From the prompt greeting by the servers and bar staff to the made to order burger sliders with fresh cut fries everything was AMAZING! Our servers were on top of it and so friendly. The food was GREAT! “Dough is unique, deliciously savory and always perfectly balanced with a hint of sweetness and has the perfect texture that, I think, is superior to any other similar ‘Quad-Cities style’ pizza places. The pizza is absolutely amazing, but the real treasures are their calzones. For me, it’s their eggplant calzone. Eggplant can be tricky, but they slice it very thinly, use an excellent breading, fry it to perfection and layer it with creamy ricotta & rich mozzarella wrapped in that amazing dough, though occasionally they’ll not use enough filling (so, I order extra eggplant & cheese, just to be safe.) When combined with their ‘calzone sauce’ (on the side, a perfect match, bold & rich, similar to an amazing marinara but their own take, and I think it’s necessary for the full experience), it is one of my favorite meals. I’ve had pizza & calzones in so many states and cities, so many styles and varieties, but I always end up craving Pizza & Subs above all others when I’m in the mood for that. Pro tip: add eggplant to some of their pizzas, such as their garden. Another nice thing, they actually still deliver themselves, not using some service, and they deliver surprisingly quickly most of the time, for a very reasonable fee, and the people are always kind and friendly. Unfortunately, they changed their hours in the past few years and close much earlier than most pizza places, which can often be frustrating. Sometimes they’ll close randomly due to staffing issues or things that come up beyond their control. And their website is literally years out of date, and always reminds me of how much they’ve raised their prices when I go to look at their menu... But, it’s a family run joint that makes amazing food, so accepting those things is necessary even if it means I don’t get food from them as often as I used to. Otherwise, I can’t recommend Pizza & Subs highly enough as something uniquely amazing that I hope remains open for generations to come. Just wish they were able to stay open later, and their prices went down. It’s worth the splurge sometimes, though, and their pizzas are quite loaded with toppings. 🤷‍♂️“

“We love HuHot and have been customers for years. But the Davenport location has been declining recently. Today they sat us at a dirty table. Told them we didn't need rice and they brought it anyway. Had to ask for silverware. The food stations were a mess with food everywhere including all over the floor. The person refilling food was not wearing gloves and using her hands to rake food out of the containers. The grill was good but just overall it feels like it is losing some cleanliness and personality.“

It was not too dry, but not juicy taste it better once I added salt wish they had more site options for people with diabetes. I tried the ranch that came with my son’s chicken tenders, the ranch is really good. Their ranch reminds me of Dairy Queen‘s ranch.“
