The food was some of the best I've ever had, the people were among the best I've ever met. We walked in, they welcomed us, and told us they were going to take care of us. They took care of us. I will come back here every time I'm in Chicago. What a great experience!

In from TX to see Pearl Jam. Staying in Evanston. Asked the locals where to get some good dogs and sandwiches. More than a few said Herms Palace and they were right! So glad we popped in. Family own, great hospitality and food was delicious. Will be back.
