Had a free evening and sure glad we stopped! What a great setup. If you’re into fast cars this is a must do. We’re coming back.
Such a fun spot! Stopped in after dinner for a drink, not realizing it was a themed racing bar. Had the best time! Was offered a free demo to try out the racing simulator and this place turned a regular date night something super memorable! Would highly recommend. Hope to come back again soon.

Sim Racing South Barrington, also known as The Grid Lounge, is a themed racing bar that offers a fun and memorable experience. The Grid Lounge is spacious, clean, and upbeat, with a great atmosphere and enough room to host multiple parties at once. The faculty is fantastic, very nice, and welcoming to everyone. The sim racing setups are super fun and top tier, and the racing is incredibly immersive and competitive, way more involved than expected. The racing systems are impressive and everything ran smoothly. A free demo is offered to try out the racing simulator. If you bring a friend group, you get put into a call so you can all communicate, which is not seen in other places. The Grid Lounge is perfect for a bachelor party, group outing, or just a fun night with friends. It is also a great spot for a drink and some racing. New owners are super kind and inviting, and prices are very reasonable. The Grid Lounge offers a different quality experience compared to other comparable places and is very accommodating. It is highly recommended and hope to come back again soon.
