“Unlike some of the other fine dining establishments, RC acknowledged our anniversary dinner as a special occasion. They also honored my request for a quiet table, which was such a nice change, providing for conversation without yelling. Food & Service were great as usual.“

“After our first visit here with friends, we couldn’t stop talking about when we’d be back!

When we’re with a group, we like to sit at a table, but when it’s just me and my husband, the bar is our go-to spot. The servers and bartenders are always fantastic.

The oysters are fresh and delicious, and the foie gras is served just the way I love—with toast and jam.

The caesar salad is quite good, with a nice touch of pickled sardines.

So far, our favorite entrées are the burger, steak frites, and walleye.

“November 9, 2024 60th Anniversary Dinner
We shared a dinner with 19 of our friends who have shared most of these 60 years.
We wanted to provide the best of everything, service, atmosphere and food. We got more in every category.
The room was warm, beautiful florals, exquisite table, service was above and beyond with Veronica and Rita. Our guests all praised the food and added was the presentation we did not expect.
Thank you Capitol Grill for making this event more memorable than we could have dreamed.

“Had a wonderful night out with friends. The food has always was delicious. We had the butternut squash soup and tuna tartar
for appetizers. For dinner we had the pork chop shrimp and grits and cedar plank salmon. Everything was tap-notch. The service was friendly and is a true dining experience.“

“Finally good brewery in the area, so happy that we visited that place that offers very interesting beers. Their Pilsner and Lager are very solid. We also tried Farmhouse Ipa that offers interesting complexion of flavors as it is brewed and then put in barrels that once contained the wine lingering with its flavors almost like saison but keeping the good IPA profile. We will definitely visit again, hopefully soon!! :)“

“The lentil soup is delicious. I do not live very close, but I do drive there for the soup. Yesterday I got bread to go with it and it was a small loaf made just for me. Again, absolutely delicious. The staff is always so nice.“

“We went to Woodfire for the first time a few weeks back on a Thursday night to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Full house!! We had the best appetizers, main dishes (pasta & pizza), drinks and the donuts as a treat from our amazingly friendly server was a fabulous ending to a great night! “Zin is a favorite go-to spot of ours. They rarely disappoint. We sat at the bar this time, and Jorge and Mary both served us. The jovial atmosphere was great fun and the food was excellent. There's a new kitchen staff, but no need to worry - they were great. The tuna tartare was fantastic and the burger was perfect. Don't get me going on the fries... their French fries are straight up amazing. Another good night was had at our neighborhood hot spot!“

“We visited Cooper's Hawk on a Friday night with a group of four, and the ambiance was spot-on for a relaxed fine dining experience. Although I’m not typically a wine enthusiast, I was pleasantly surprised to find a refreshing German Gewurztraminer served cold, which paired well with the meal. As a vegetarian, I found the options a bit limited but decided to try the Caprese flatbread; it was decent, though not particularly memorable.

The atmosphere itself was lovely, and it’s a great spot if you're looking to unwind with friends in an inviting, upscale setting. Our only hiccup was the service—it was a bit slow, but understandable given the busy Friday evening. Overall, it’s worth a visit, especially for wine lovers, with a comfortable ambiance to unwind in“

“Amazing establishment. The workers were kind, talkative and friendly. They made great recommendations and everything I tried was amazing. I did enjoy the aesthetic and the stained glass, but the food was amazing. I would recommend the Braised Lamb, French onion soup, and sorbet. Can't wait to return. “We enjoyed another great evening at Coopers Hawk Kildeer. We choose Coopers Hawk not only for their great drinks, food preparation and portions, but also because they have substantial Gluten-Free options and dedicated fryers so everyone can enjoy. They take allergy consciousness seriously. While Kyle our server was prompt, courteous, and engaging I have to say the entire staff gave us a feeling they truly appreciated our choice dining with them. Everyone we spoke with or even passed in the hallway smiled and made eye contact. The Pretzel bread (including Gluten-Free bread) along with appetizers (Calamari & Brussel Sprouts) were the perfect size for our party of five(5) to share. We enjoyed a variety of dishes (Chicken, Pretzel-Crusted Pork Chops, Spaghetti w/Meatballs, Gnocchi Alla Vodka, and Salad w/Chicken & Avocado), all delicious. Flourless cake and two other desserts were shared and delicious. Overall highly recommended as we have had consistent high quality food and service at this location.“
