“Stayed there in Summer 2022. Very clean, and even though our room was near the bar we did not have trouble sleeping. Gorgeous sunrise views. We did not get the email with the code so could not check in at check in time, so we had to wait an hour or 2. Not a huge deal. The bigger deal was the neighbor with the F… Biden sign (in her front yard) coming onto the property making guests uncomfortable.“
“Nice establishment very kind staff and yummy food... I had the bbq beef sandwich and a cup of chilli and Jenn had the Italian beef and a cup of chicken rice soup... they have a slot room as well for those who like to press their luck.. we will definitely go back there again...“

“Since its transformation into Taylor’s on Toft, this bar has established itself as one of Antioch’s most polished and welcoming drinking destinations. The owner—often found behind the bar—sets the tone with a warm, personable presence that immediately makes guests feel at ease. Her cocktail craftsmanship is equally impressive: the Manhattan is exemplary, balanced and precise, while the martinis are consistently excellent, executed with confidence and restraint. The ambiance strikes an ideal note—refined yet relaxed—making it a natural choice for a pre-dinner aperitif or a lingering post-meal nightcap. During a recent visit, a live singing group added a festive touch, infusing the space with genuine Christmas cheer without overwhelming the intimate atmosphere. While we have not yet sampled the food, dishes arriving at neighboring tables are beautifully presented and look enticing, suggesting the bar program is thoughtfully complemented by the kitchen. Taylor’s on Toft is a standout in Antioch: a place defined by gracious hospitality, expertly made cocktails, and an atmosphere that invites return visits. Highly recommended.“

“I visit Johnsburg 1-2 times per year and I always work it into my schedule to stop in for a beer which turns into several. Friendly regulars and bartenders. Random people usually give me money to request songs on the jukebox for them which is pretty cool.“

“We love Steve's! Steve and Rita are the best, and so is the bartender Liz! It's one of our favorite places to hang out and play some darts. The backyard in the summer is beautiful, your surrounded by flowers, with a beautiful wooden swing and volleyball court. Definitely should check it out.“

“I love dive bars. Hilltop is perfect in my opinion. Cheap drinks, Great service and low lighting. Is there anything else we need for a good dive? It doesn't smell funky, which is hard to find in the area . Great place to play pool or gamble on your evening out.“

“It's now called copper bottom. If you read my other reviews you'll know that im a wing snob. The wings are fantastic. The fish tacos are great too. Awesome seating outside where the building protects you from the wind. Great bourbon selection, the drinks are awesome. The wait staff are friendly and funny. They're not afraid to help each other out to make sure you have a great experience.“

“We recently had a celebration of life party. The place was perfect large windows looking out to the water. The staff especially Max was such a great help in making sure the place was set up to our liking. We had so many people say how nice the place was and they never knew it was there. Definitely a hidden treasure. Would definitely recommend for your next party.“

“Wow, just WOW. Words cannot begin to describe just how pleased I am with my dining experience. Friendly staff, great food, and amazing atmosphere are just some of the things that contributed to my unforgettable experience. Not only was there little to no wait time, the workers were very patient and kind towards me while I was ordering my food. After receiving my food, the least I can say is that I was simply blown away. The portion sizes are immaculate and the flavors are unlike anything I’ve had before. I will definitely be returning here for my future meals and I can’t recommend it to others enough.“

“Just dropped by for some lunch for the first time and had their famous beef sandwich. By far one of the best beef sandwiches I've had in a long time. Maybe even better than some I've had in Chicago. This is a family of different personalities- 6 gaming machines-- Friday night pool games- yes we may be "ran down" compared to some but we make up for our cosmetic shortcomings with spicy and unique bartenders and regulars! I ask you to just give the Tap-less a chance! Come in on Mondays for 1$ domestic cans 11a- 11p (open until 1am on mondays) also on Fridays we have $2.50 imports open- 9pm!
