We went for Fri fish fry. The food was excellent. I had the fried cod, and the breading was crispy without being oily. The broccoli crunch is a must-have addition. Very comfy atmosphere, if you like old fashioned and eclect bars.
Last minute decision to get food on way home and was first option from location we were at and it was ABSOLUTELY worth it. Great service and fish fry was excellent. We all had fried fish but each a different potato and sampled from all plates...homemade chips/fries were the clear favorite. Appreciate the history lesson of the building as well.

We never knew this place existed until stumbling upon it on Google Maps. It literally looks like just a house with a small sign out front. The bartender was very personable and the owner was the sweetest. Food was excellent! My boyfriend got the reuben which he loved! Thick sandwich with REAL meat (not lunch meat slices!)
