“Gross negligence by crew and management alike. Orders are almost always wrong or missing items. Today, I spent an HOUR in this location waiting for my order. Special instructions on the order, per dietary restrictions. My order was picked up by another customer, and the staff offered to remake mine for the mistake. Once remade, the special instructions were not followed, and they had IMMEDIATELY lost my receipt/could not recall it/print a new one to confirm my previously entered order. The manager then came to WRITE DOWN my order, in front of me and told me he would personally remake it again. And AGAIN, my order was incorrect, with the special instructions still not followed. During all of this, the staff was generally unhelpful. Rude, short and too busy talking amongst themselves to properly care about customers, orders, or how they present the McDonalds brand/experience. So I wasted an hour. Left with a poor attitude from the staff and management on duty, with only a refund in hand. I worked at McDonald's for an extended period in the past. I have certain expectations for how things should be handled, and absolutely none of them are ever met at this location.“

“Good quick place to get a good sandwich. Consistent quality with all other JJ.5 stars because it was as expected. Not that anyone has the expectation this is a Michelin Starred restaurant.

“CLEARLY illinois Valley's BEST Subway. Ingredients and bread is always fresh and service is the friendliest! Store interior ALWAYS appears spotless.

Too many locations use borderline stale bread and produce that look day old. One owner with multiple locations actually waters down the soda dispenser. Ugh.

Spring Valley is the ONLY location and fast food establishment I gladly use the tip option.

Went through drive through. Ordered my usual coffee. It was oddly cold. Went in, greeted with a smile. Brought the issue up. She Apologized for the inconvenience. Got me a fresh coffee. All while helping other staff with orders for drive through and customers at the counter. If she isn't a shift lead or manager. She should be. Handling so many tasks while busy and keeping a calm/positive attitude is rare anymore. Thank you for the great service!“

“I normally love Culvers. It is the only fast food I eat. Today it was horrible. Fries were not fried properly. They were a gooey mess. My burger was not cooked in the middle. Threw it out and their food is not inexpensive. Waste of money and I'm still hungry. I will go back and if it isn't back to normal that will be my last time. Too bad. We have had a good relationship for many years.“

“Drive-thru order so I can't really judge the atmosphere. Placed order then had to wait almost 10 min. For the food. Was kinda upset about that but once we ate, the food was very fresh and very good! Definitely stop here if you like Arby's, just expect to wait. But food will be worth it. I just wish curly fries were hotter.“

“Cole and the young woman working on 8/9/25 absolutely blew me and my party away with their incredible service. After being rained out of the splash pad birthday party unexpectedly, we took shelter at Pizza Hut, walking in with nearly 20 people. Cole jumped right in to help reorganize the seating to fit everyone and once sat immediately got drinks going. I did not get the young woman’s name but she was a power house with the serving tray.

Very grateful for how patient and understanding they were while we opened presents etc. (Three year olds are not exactly public space respectful) A really great time was had even with the rain and in no small part to the hard working people managing the floor and the window drive through 💪🏻🍕“

“We all know jimmy John’s has great sandwiches but this location has the best employees as well! Our car broke down in the parking lot and they were more than accommodating, even to the point of offering assistance to help us get back on the road. 10/5 stars!!!! When you get the chance stop in to see Steve, Eric and Ian!!!“

“Our food was hot and fresh. The only real issue I had seen was the soda fountains, the tops of the dispensers were dusty and covered in sticky soda, which was built up on the surfaces. I hope they at least soak and clean the nozzles. Other than that, the lobby and bathroom were clean. Our food was hot and fresh.“

“Went through the drive thru today and was delighted to encounter Damerion as our cashier. He was incredibly polite, kind and friendly in every way; a remarkable young man that usually I seem to rarely ever find working in the fast food industry. The food was also very good, warm and perfectly built. I'd like to point out just how amazing our cashier was as he made our experience truly wonderful! I will be recommending this location and returning for the foreseeable future! Well done to the entire taco bell team tonight May 16th for our amazing experience!! “I would like to provide a POSITIVE Experience we had recently visiting the Subway location in Ogelsby, IL off of I-39. We understand the owners names is “farmer John” . We stopped at approximately 4:30 pm Sunday, August 17, 2025 to enjoy an early dinner while traveling north to Rockford, IL. We were greeted with pleasant and professional staff who were eager to serve our needs. Their names were Andrew and Mariska and they followed all customer service protocol to in retail to make this stop a tasty, high quality, and efficient experience. We purchased a tuna footlong meal deal and dined in the dining room. The sandwich prep area was clean and well stocked with fresh protein options and fixins. The bread was fresh and very satisfying. The bathrooms were clean and fully stocked as well. All tables were clean and comfortable seating was available throughout the dining room. We THANK YOU for providing a fulfilling experience while on our travels. Keep up the good work. Hats off to the owner and management staff for outstanding hiring and training practices. “This specific restaurant has stellar customer service. The manager of this establishment, a Ms. Victoria, went the extra mile to provide this consumer a satisfying experience. A welcoming attitude, good atmosphere, and very polite. Another Jersey Mike establishment in Bloomington, IL had failed to deliver a sandwich, even after receiving payment. But the manager at this location offered and proceeded to kindly replace the sandwich after hearing of this unfortunate incident, making up for the other locations' failure to deliver. This Peru location had no obligation to make up for another establishments' shortcoming, but these wonderful employees did. And that is going above and beyond. High praise and 10/10 stars. Knowing customer satisfaction is prioritized at this Peru, Illinois establishment, I endeavor to make it a place I frequent for a tasty and reliable sub.“
