The best sushi that Illinois has to offer, can't be beat. Quality, portions, and service all blow everyone else out of the water.
I love Happy Sushi 🍣! Food is always good and affordable! If I wish I live closer to Springfield and I will have Happy Sushi every day ❤️! 10 out of 10!!!
Happy Sushi is by far the best sushi in the Springfield area! It’s always fresh and delicious. We’ve never had a bad roll from there. Make sure to call before ordering/going in to make sure they’re open. Some of our favorite rolls are: Anger Management, 10.10, Spicy Crunch, and French Kiss.

Based on the reviews, Happy Sushi | Japanese is a small, well-loved restaurant that offers a great experience. The sushi is incredibly fresh and high quality, with the salmon hand rolls being very fresh and soft. The sushi roll is large and filling. Other popular menu items include the 10.10 roll, Anger Management roll, California roll, egg rolls, and amazing miso soup. The portions are very generous for the price, and the food comes out super quickly. The owner is SO kind and welcoming, trained in Japan in Osaka, and truly goes out of their way to make every customer feel like family. The waitress was kind and attentive. The atmosphere features Asian videos on the TV, though the music was loud for some. It is a small place where you can get a small taste of Japan. This is the best sushi and one of the best local gems in town.
